I’m Safe driver 40 years. Watched a lot of people on the left side of the road get killed and injured on the highway

Stop lights and seat belts seem logical to me, so I accept the rule
Wearing mask that even the expert says doesn’t really do anything ,seems stupid to me, so I don’t comply

see how easy is to think for yourself?

And your expertise comes from what? You know as much as any expert in any field and if a real expert says something you don't like, you just assume you know better eh?

That isn't what experts say. You are making false claims.

They most certainly do say the mask helps to protect those around you. You could be a spreader and not know it.

As your post so eloquently shows, the front end spewing isn't the only thing to watch out for...

yea, I kinda figured out years ago, after seeing all the dead vegan experts that were telling me what I should eat, that I can choose for myself fairly well what works best for me, by ignoring stupid ideas

It is undisputed that wearing a mask helps to reduce spread. You just don't care.

So like I said... just not man enough...

I know a lot of you are so fearful. It is sad. Some of you are well meaning but others just want to envelope everyone else in their fear. Some want to exploit fear for very political reasons. Some like to call those that don't join in their fear "foolish". They just don't want to be left behind.

I have a friend that had a liver transplant. He recently had to have his bladder removed. I have another friend that has had two heart transplants. Then again two days ago, I had another friend, a wife of a really good friend, just had a heart transplant. All of these have severely compromised immune systems. They know it. They quarantine. What am I to do? I can't go see them. Will it make them feel better if I wear a mask? Stay home from work? Keep my kids home from school? Well I'm certainly not going to do it to make YOU feel better!

You do all those things don't you HWGA? That makes you a really good person. I bet you hang out in parks and report people that aren't social distancing. I bet you hang out in public restrooms and report people that don't wash their hands. You are so good you could defend humanity from all the risks in life. I really like you.

I figure a mask won't hurt me and it might possibly help someone else. When the dog days hit I'll rethink it.

I too have Asthma, and I do acknowledge the reality that COVID-19, if it got me, could possibly spell my end. Yet, I cannot and must not succumb to fear of this dreaded virus/disease. No amount of staying holed up is going to protect me forever, and frankly I think we still need a qualifier here. If we all had the virus, we'd several scores sicker and several scores dead. And while that number is going up with increased testing, it still doesn't account for the fact that the asymptomatic people could be going through that 14-day period, and actually shedding the virus.(See: recent studies that people who have dead virus might not be able to spread the virus.)

We need a bigger testing, quantifying the actual percentage of people who can actually spread the virus and how many really do actually have it.

    virtue signaling
    [ vur-choo sig-nl-ing ]
    noun Sometimes Disparaging.
the sharing of one's point of view on a social or political issue, often on social media, in order to garner praise or acknowledgment of one’s righteousness from others who share that point of view, or to passively rebuke those who do not: The virtue signaling of solidarity with the victims can be a comforting affirmation of community.

A mask does nothing for germs on surfaces, like those boxes and cans. But washing your hands does, if that cautious, spray it all with Lysol, if it wont contaminate it.

Are visitors to your "friends" wearing masks when they see them or are they as selfish as you?

I think going to a protest without mask, brandishing an ar15, and angrily yelling "freedom" is virtue signalling. Their "virtue" is just not one that I share.

The main reason for wearing a mask is to not infect others - something it would appear you are quite happy to do.
