Hey no harm, no foul! unless you can prove there is a harm... can you prove that my saliva intentionally put on stuff you will touch, did you any harm? You can be responsible for your own health by wearing gloves, exchanging them frequently and sanitizing everything before you put it into your home. I just pay a little more physical attention to the stuff you surround yourself with, than I do someone who wears a mask. I assume they are uncomfortable around my saliva. I assume you are not.

Its not a threat absent evidence that my saliva traveling is dangerous. You clearly are not concerned about saliva as a conduit. I share your indifference when I am around you or your stuff. I don't know you don't like saliva and want some more. Now when someone shows they do care about saliva as a conduit by wearing a mask, I respect their concern.

Why? Makes no difference when you have vindictive people spreading their saliva on cans and other good in the market ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

I know Lesh does not want my saliva. He is wearing a mask. That means he is worried about it moving viruses around. Show me you don't want it when I see you in the store, and I won't give you mine.

wearing a mask helps prevent transmission of a virus that in some countries kills 10% of those infected.

if you live in a metro area that had a lot of cases, you really should wear a mask and limit exposure to people.

Sure it is. when I give charitably, I don't necessarily do it for the credit. I assume people who do not wear masks, are not upset about saliva being all around them. So I cooperate. You have not identified a problem. What is wrong with my spitting on my hands and handling those green beans? It will dry and you need never know it happened.

No. there is no harm. If you believed there was a harm, you'd signal it by wearing a mask. If there was a harm, you could mitigate it by wearing gloves, staying home, or sanitizing the can.

I believe in strengthening my bodies immune system so I don't wear a mask as a natural way of combatting pathogens, viral and other germs.. That's the way I and every human has evolved, and I'd like to continue with that scenario! You and others can simply stay home and be safe..

Heh, gross. I've been wiping off my groceries and other purchases too. I have a few stainless steel tables in my garage that I've been using as a make-shift decontamination area. Really hoping my local grocer brings in self-checkout because the worst part of the entire shopping process is sitting there watching someone put their hands all over your stuff knowing they're touching a countless number of things all day long.

what about folks who cannot afford to stay home and have to work to pay the rent and buy food, but have health conditions that put them at greater risk of serious effects from Covid?

    screw them?

So now we are doing you a personal favor by providing you with more saliva so that you can exercise your immune system. I chose to accept your thanks as I sneeze all over your crap.

it would be great if YOU would wear a mask too while talking to them.

yes, Covid-19 can and has been spread just by talking to people.

What difference does it make whether I wait until your back is turned or not, if there is a positive value in exercising your immune system? I am doing you a solid by helping you out, and Lesh a favor in protecting him from my immune booster saliva.

I'm not going to deprive my immune system and the risk fighting off a stronger mutated version! I want to start building antibodies starting with the beta version and upgrade until the final version!

Prove it. where is does the logic fail? You either don't care about other's saliva as a conduit or actively like it to strengthen your immune system. Lesh feels differently. I treat you both differently depending on the social cues you provide in your behavior.
