There are syndromes and there are obsessions. Find a hobby. One that doesn't involve firearms or sharp objects.
What matters is what the law says. If the law defines trans as male or as female, then so be it. Interestingly, all this reform has come under Republican politicians and judges in charge of legislatures and courts - yet, somehow right wingers continue to blame libs for that reform.
As I posted here http://www.politicalforum.com/index...he-ncaa-champio.557370/page-2#post-1070684741 So seems some of the girls have had enough and are speaking out and pushing back. Girls file federal discrimination complaint after transgender track wins HARTFORD, Conn. — Three Connecticut girls who have run high school track have filed a federal discrimination complaint saying a statewide policy on transgender athletes has cost them top finishes in races and possibly college scholarships. The complaint filed Monday with the U.S. Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights was submitted by the conservative Christian law firm Alliance Defending Freedom on behalf of the girls, who are asking for an investigation of the policy and orders that would make competitions fair. The complaint also cites the federal Title IX rules aimed at equal rights in sports for female athletes. https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/jun/18/transgender-athletes-wins-prompt-girls-discriminat/ Don't know if the lawsuit will stand under existing law but perhaps will prompt new regulations and laws protecting women's athletics and bringing some sanity back.
It was changed here "The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference, which governs high school sports in the state, says its policy follows a state anti-discrimination law requiring students to be treated in school according to the gender with which they identify. That means that athletes can compete according to their expressed gender identity as opposed to their sex assigned at birth."
I think this discussion is specifically about what the laws should be. I'm pretty sure most the advocacy specifically aimed at recognizing trans women as women or trans men as men has come from. It just happens under Republicans
Such is too bad for them. There is no constitutional right to not be offended. Just as there is no constitutional right to not be slurred.
