see the photos below....guess which one is the trans nurse practitioner.
Note that the 'milk' has not been analyzed so I find this concerning (and disturbing). They are playing and experimenting and patting themselves on their back and using a newborn to carry out their fantasies and put its little life at risk.

Transgender Woman Breast-Feeds Baby After Hospital Induces Lactation
by Ceylan Yeginsufeb Feb 15, 2018

The study’s authors, Zil Goldstein, left, a nurse practitioner, and Dr. Tamar Reisman of Mount Sinai Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery in New York.

When a transgender woman told doctors at a hospital in New York that she wanted to breast-feed her pregnant partner’s baby, they put her on a regimen of drugs that included an anti-nausea medication licensed in Britain and Canada but banned in the United States.

Within a month, according to the journal Transgender Health, the woman, 30, who was born male, was producing droplets of milk. Within three months — two weeks before the baby’s due date — she had increased her production to eight ounces of milk a day.

In the end, the study showed, “she was able to achieve sufficient breast milk volume to be the sole source of nourishment for her child for six weeks,” according to the journal.

Dr. Tamar Reisman and Zil Goldstein, a nurse practitioner, of the Mount Sinai Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery in New York, say the case illustrates that, in some circumstances, modest but functional lactation can be induced in transgender women who did not give birth or undergo surgery.

“We believe that this is the first formal report in the medical literature of induced lactation in a transgender woman,” said the study’s authors, Dr. Reisman and Ms. Goldstein, a transgender activist and program director at the center. They were not immediately available for comment.

Some hailed the case study, published in January, as a “breakthrough” for transgender families; others called it “dangerous” and “disturbing.” But if confirmed in wider studies, the regimen could represent a next major stage in transgender parenthood.

Breast milk is considered the best form of nutrition for infants. Breast-fed babies have healthier immune systems, score higher on I.Q. tests and may be less prone to obesity than other babies. Advocacy campaigns have noted that the practice facilitates mother-child bonding, and saves families from spending money on infant formula. The World Health Organization, in setting new international bench marks for children’s growth, has said that breast-feeding is the biological norm.

But in the case published in Transgender Health, it is not known whether breast milk from this kind of induced lactation is equivalent to milk produced after giving birth by women who are not transgender.
Dr. Joshua D. Safer, medical director of transgender medicine and surgery at Boston Medical Center, called the study “a very big deal” and said he expected it to become very popular among transgender women.
“It’s out there on internet forums, but there’s a lot on the internet that’s true or untrue to varying degrees,” he said in an interview with the weekly magazine New Scientist. “It’s a very big deal to have this recorded in a reliable document.”

Others were skeptical about the study and what it could mean for transgender women.

“We all want to have the same experiences as women,” Maria Clifford, 38, a British transgender mother who has been using a surrogate to breast-feed her child, said on Thursday. “We need further testing and evidence to show that these drugs aren’t going to cause harm to the baby.”

“Breast milk is the most important product for the development of a child,” Ms. Clifford added. “We need to make sure it’s pure and hormone free.”

Question to all of you: how would YOU like to have been that baby?

I would be worried about the amount of hormones it takes to make a male lactate. And what effect that would have on a baby.

No more than the normal amount of estrogen and other hormones that cause a female to lactate, and hormones that regulate lactation, with the same equivalent hormonal effects on the baby.

FYI, The breast tissue present in a male is identical to a female's breast tissue and works in an identical manner.

    I don't believe you.

Yeah... And that's why we see men nursing babies.

That's a stretch. You're not factoring in the drip feed of natural hormone production, just for starters. 24hrs worth of hormone in a single dose will never behave the same way on body systems that a 24hr drip feed will. And the impact on any breast issue subsequent to the daily dose is probably not tested anywhere near sufficiently. This practice could seriously increase the risk of oestrogen-linked cancers in female infants, just for starters.

It's more insane testing on our innocent children. Will the narcissism of these people never cease?

You are always hostile to me for some odd reason.

And I thought we had something in common.

    Whatever.

I do not have enough time for your 50 years of complicated laundry and hangups.

    Just wow.

I do not give a flying F to explain, consult your P.C.P. and an Endocrinologist for further information.

It isn't meant to be personal.

You and I likely have a lot in common. We aren't going to agree on everything.

    No.

men do naturally lactate sometimes, but nothing to this extent as the hormones are usually not in great enough quantity, same is true of females that have not given birth
my guess is women that have surrogates will start using this method too, if they have not already

I do not want anyone to agree with me on anything, I no longer care.
I have seen enough sadness this past year to make me not worry anymore.

Example, I once showed my Father a lump of red stuff, I said it was a big lump of "Match head stuff" he disagreed, so joking I said strike it and see, I was 10 years old, he was old enough to know better,
I was shocked he struck it,
It flared up and he got burned.

You see, it does not matter if someone agrees with me, I know when I am correct and that is all that matters to me.

    No, you wouldn't.
But I no longer care, time has past me by,
And this too, is vanity, and striving after the wind.

Are you wanting to make a discussion? [IMG] Now, what is it you're trying to say? You suggest that I spend too much time thinking about this bizarre stuff; does that mean that you think I shouldn't? Or that you'd prefer I didn't mention the subject because you have a direct interest? If you post an oblique opinion you really ought to flesh it out a bit, otherwise there wasn't much purpose of posting anything?

You can't figure it out ?

Why do you care what Gay people do ?
You are not Gay and they do not affect you in any way.

Give such remote things no thought at all.
Why stay up at Night pondering Gay affairs ?

"Drat them Gay folks and their Gay Marriages and Their Gay Wedding Cakes !
    They took My Job !!!
They got no business being so gol dang Gay !
It diminished My Marriage and I got divorced !"

Extreme dripping with sarcasm / humor alert.

He does seem to have an unhealthy fixation on his opinion of sexual deviancy. It is akin to abortion discussion in that people believe their own opinion should define the lives of strangers.
