    1. President Trump on Thursday accused China of breaking a promise President Xi Jinping made at the G20 to buy more US farm products — ratcheting up the pressure as talks resumed over the trade war between the world’s two largest economies....

Beijing’s retaliatory tariffs last year on imports of agricultural goods have slammed many farmers — a key Trump constituency — forcing bankruptcies and a slowdown in farm lending as many operations struggle and fall deeper into debt.

The agricultural loan portfolios of the nation’s top 30 banks fell by $3.9 billion, to $18.3 billion, between their peak in December 2015 and March 2019, the analysis showed — a 17.5 percent decline....

    2. Two unlucky victims – Crooked Hillary (nasty woman) and Barack Obama (failed president) – have stood out as "super crooks" in Donald Trump's long list of "rogues". Now he has added a new "super crook" in the list.

As usual, in his habit of making unsubstantiated claims, Trump accused his "good friend" -- his Chinese counterpart -- of breaking a promise made at the G20 to buy more US farm products.

Back on June 11, he accused his Chinese counterpart of reneging on promises to make structural economic changes during months of trade talks. He said: "We had a deal with China and then they went back on the deal. They said we don't want to have four major points, five major points. ... But we had a deal with China and unless they go back to that deal, I have no interest."

Perhaps Trump had better hold a joint press conference and/or get everything down in black and white in his next meeting with his Chinese counterpart.

    3. “Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth”, is a law of propaganda often attributed to the Nazi Joseph Goebbels.

As Donald Trump repeats his allegation against China, it is not surprising that the words "China's trade promises" keep cropping up in the mass media as though his allegation has become the truth.

It is unthinkable that China can make such a foolish promise to make large purchases of soybeans after an outbreak of African swine fever has dwindled hog numbers.

    4. While the Chinese ban on rare earth mineral exports to the US could be compared to “dropping an atomic bomb” in the so-called trade war, the halt on all agricultural purchases from the US could be compared to “dropping a hydrogen bomb” in the geopolitical rivalry (thanks to Trump's desperate demand for China to buy US farm goods).

China can make the following demands (actually the list can be longer) in exchange for the purchase of US farm goods:

    (a) The US must remove all tariffs on Chinese goods.

    (b) US must lift its ban on Huawei including its sale in the US.

    (c) The US must halt all arms sales to Taiwan.

    (d) The US must close its de facto embassy in Taiwan.

    (e) The US must halt all communications, whether official or unofficial, with Taiwan.

    (f) The US must ban all Taiwanese officials, including the leader, from the so-called transit or stopover in the US.

    (g) The US must stop sending warships to through the Taiwan Strait or to the South China Sea.

They are an export economy, they only have that size economy if we purchase their goods. It's a hell of lot easier for us to find other 3rd world suppliers than it is for them to find another First World set of consumers like the US has.
And Trump will tell them to stuff it in their ass.

    Trump the Red Chinese

Chairman Xi now knows what Kathy Griffin meant when she said, "He broke me."

Red China's economy is tanking, the South China Morning Post reported.

    The newspaper said,

"China’s inflation figures revealed two separate headaches for Beijing on Wednesday, with consumer prices continuing to rise, while the prices producers charged at factory gates in June threatened to dip into deflation.

"The consumer price index (CPI) stayed at 2.7 per cent, the same as in May, which was the highest reading for 15 months. This indicates that prices are continuing to rise for Chinese consumers at a time when the economy is battling serious headwinds on a number of different fronts.

"Meanwhile, the producer price index (PPI), the price charged to buyers from producers at the factory gates, is teetering on the brink of deflation, reporting at 0.0 per cent in June year on year, down from 0.6 per cent in May and below a Bloomberg poll, the median forecast of which was 0.1 per cent.

"Domestic consumption has been a concern of policymakers in Beijing for some time, and the fact that prices are rising, it will add to this anxiety since it makes it more difficult for consumers to buy more."

For decades, Red China used North Korea to cow presidents into compliance. President Trump removed that negotiating tool.

Then he slapped on tariffs. Then he took on Huawei.

At the G-20 summit, Red China agreed to go back to the bargaining table. We are making progress.

It could be music to your ears while Trump blows his own trumpet and trumps up anything against China. Meanwhile his Chinese counterpart just laughs and stops buying US farm goods.

Perhaps you and other lucky Americans may get a bucket of unsold soybeans from Trump every day while Trump gets trumped by his own folly. :knifefork:

If China wants to make those demands, they can go soak their heads

COMMUNIST FRONT CORPORATION: After ban, Huawei plans extensive layoffs at its U.S. operations.

If Trump is sure he can win, he should not waste his time phoning to his Chinese counterpart all this while.

When You Have To Shoot, Shoot, Don't Talk (On Phone)!

My great friend, now you can laugh at your unfortunate countrymen for being affected by the so-called "extensive layoffs" because you are not one of them. Wait until you get retrenched one day, they will laugh back at you! :xd:
