Today, Pense echoed Trump's earlier assertion that our COVID numbers are going down thanks to "Trump's great leadership".

Really? Today, ARIZONA with a population of about 7.28 million had over 4,000 new cases.
The EU has a population of over 400 million and today they had about 3,500 new cases.
The US with a population of 315 million had 53,000 new cases today and that is more than 80% HIGHER than the daily increase was 14 days ago.

The BC economy is open except for gatherings of more than fifty people, although some businesses have limited indoor seating.

I heard a theory today: The Air Conditioning Effect.

People that live in places with high heat, want to do stuff indoors (in the A/C). People that live in cooler areas are more willing to go outside to "mingle" and don't see the increase in transmission.

Don't know if it's true, but it makes sense. It would also explain why places with colder winters would see a larger spike in the colder months.
