I don’t need to take it up with him. I have the constitution, which is the law of the land. What you or John Adams thinks is irrelevant to the law. We are not a Christian nation. The constitution specifically precludes us from being one.

It's rather presumptuous of you to think all Christians are on the same page as you. However, your statement on its face value means you are declaring war on those who do not share your faith. This is why American Evangelicals are called the American Taliban.

I’m not a democrat. And I love the constitution. It prevents Christians from imposing their version of sharia law on me.

You took us off of and derailed that topic long ago.

I'll take a Founding Father's opinion over yours, anyday. Care to show where?

There is freedom of religion to follow and be a part of any one of them or none at all. The none at all is your right. There is no such thing as a right called freedom from religion here. You have no right to silence the free expression 1st amendment free speech rights or the free exercise there of Religious liberty rights of another American just so that you can avoid seeing, hearing, reading, or otherwise being exposed to those beliefs or thoughts.

1st amendment. It specifically precludes us from
Being a Christian nation, or any other religious nation.

Schools actually don't ban students from praying or reading the bible, they simply don't have these things as official school functions. However they do have restrictions on these activities. For example, you can't pray or read the bible in a way that is disruptive to other students or the functioning of the school. Rather than allowing this to be unrestricted, it would be better to discuss the kinds of common-sense restrictions we have.

That’s what Trumps rules do. They make sure that reasonable restrictions don’t become overbearing ones that stifle students existing rights. It seems that such stifling has been happening st the instigation of the vile and evil people at the FFRF and that Trump needed to intervene to protect the equal. Access rights of believers to express themselves at school

A good example of the difference between left and right. Those on the right READ the Constitution while the left INTERPERATES it....from your link

Though not explicitly stated in the First Amendment, the clause is often interpreted to mean that the Constitution requires the separation of church and state.

    Yes there is!

If your right interferes with my right, then it is prudent on your part to end your pursuit of your right or take it to another venue. You do not have the right to stick your bloody religion down my throat in a public venue, especially one in which I am there to conduct business or an education.

This is the very thing that draws so much ire on Evangelicals. They do not give a damn about other people's feelings. It's always a one way street. Practice your religion as you see fit, but do not browbeat unbelievers.

Argue with the Supreme Court if you wish. But it’s settled law. The constitution specifically precludes us from being a Christian nation. Sorry.

Believe me that committed atheists and or pro Lucifer fans are not the people we are trying to reach out to once they make their lack of interest or overt hostility known. It is the objective undecided and those with no particular beliefs that we are trying to reach and you have no freedom from religion right to silence us because you might walk into the path of our message to someone else. You have no more right to silence us than a democrat or republican has to silence the other to avoid exposure to a different point of view.

On Dec. 14, 2019, Christianity Today published an editorial whereby, then-editor in chief Mark Galli called for the immediate removal of Donald Trump as president of the United States. “Mr. Trump,” declared Mr. Galli, “is a near-perfect example of a human being who is morally lost and confused.”

This was addressed in another post--the fact that constitutionally protected religious rights are what they've always been and this signing order does nothing except make schools certify they haven't violated those rights. Much ado about nothing.

Non- believers portray that they live in a vacuum so they can promote whatever principles they want without a challenge. Doesn't work like that....sorry. There is a lot we agree on, but when we don't, we will challenge you all the way. You proselytize all the time, promoting your ideas and thought.

That must be why Christianity is by far, the dominant religion in the USA and your $ says "In GOD we trust".
