Trump Directed $375,000 In Donations To His Own Building To Rent An Unused Office
"It’s a huge scam," said a former aide, and the total exceeds what Trump donated to Republican candidates – the supposed purpose behind his committees.

No surprise with Crooked Donnie Trump, a crooked businessman turned crooked politician.

Pattern of Deception: From Trump Family Business to Grifter in Chief
Trump’s business model, identical to his model of exercising presidential power, is, in the words of Mary Trump’s complaint, to “enrich himself at the expense of everyone else.”
    https://www.nybooks.com/daily/2020/...om-trump-family-business-to-grifter-in-chief/

Now, in the states of New York and Georgia, his pattern of deception may finally be catching up with Crooked Trump with criminal and civil investigations being active. Hopefully, his supporters will start realizing that Crooked Donnie is scamming them when he constantly asking for donations.

Of course, he did. One thing the Orange Orangutan can do is line his pocket with other folks' money.

trump and his lies, fraud, hypocrisy and corruption is the perfect symbolism of the Republican Party.

He represents their values of morals, family, ethics, faith and truth perfectly.

Yes they do. The ultra wealthy always try to get us peasants t pay for their bills, like how Trump is trying to strong arm the GOP to pay for his legal defense.

Trumpers say the ultra wealthy are evil, yet voted for a billionaire who rubs elbows with the social elite.

I think Trump is a millionaire, not a billionaire

Trump may even owe more money than he has, not sure (that would explain the scams)

To be fair, I’m not sure if this is fraud. His PAC is probably entitled to rent office space, and no prohibition from renting that space from him. Even if the space was not immediately used.

It is clearly self dealing and corrupt, even if it is not illegal.

But his supporters won’t care, and will keep sending him money to line his own pockets.

I “get” that this might only be “shady dealing” but once upon a time Republicans had a reputation for wanting things to be kept legal and above board

Why doesn’t this level of dishonesty bother you? I mean I have been arguing politics since Junior and although I never agreed with republicans I, until Trump respected them as honest Christian people

Honestly, I believe there are good Republicans who believe in what the party claims should be done but never does. I mean the platform does have some positives that unfortunately are completely ignored in practice. I'd so like to see the good "Republicans" split off and make a new party to which many conservative Democrats would join. I believe it would become the dominant party in two cycles but not a majority. As such, they'll still align with the left on some things and the right on others and we'd see such a resurgence in the US economy and social life as to be the envy again of the World.
