~ I thought you were a lawyer .
Are you kidding? Look at my avatar and screen name .
Sheldon, is that you?
Not quite as brilliant, but also not quite as nerdy (actually, my students would probably say otherwise, but to them I'm probably just OLD). My kids love that show, I find it too much of a caricature.
There is no Government spokesman quoted in the Link.....stating that we have a vaccine.
It's the same old same old in the sense that we should practice the same hygiene and limit contact with others, the same as for any other flu-like virus. School closures are always an option. It is done all the time on a local level. Covid19 is no different in that respect. If enough kids get sick, the school closes for a time. It's the wise thing to do.
When's the last time you saw mass school closings? Not in my lifetime. If LA Unified closes, which it probably will soon, you will.
Hey, any show that puts nerdy scientists in a good light is a good show.
We're going to rebound from this period of sheer idiocy we live in, and I think the next generation will have a greater appreciation for STEM. At least I hope so.
~ They should close it down permanently . School choice is a much better option and can save these kids from dumbing down.
But they say that they are going to vaccinate people. How do you do that without a vaccine?
Sorry, not playing anymore. You know what the link says, and that does not include any statement by Government that Australia has a vaccine.....now.
Thanks for the white flag. The link states the vaccine as part of the govt reaction virus as anyone that can read or is just a tad bit honest would see. No vaccine exists.
School mostly exists so both parents can work and get free daycare. The education part is a distant second.
I didn't say that I didn't understand what he said. I said that what he said is meaningless.
When asked by Fox News reporter Kristin Fisher about the CDC’s warning the virus will definitely spread, he said.
- It probably will.
- It possibly will.
- It could be at a very small level or it could be at a larger level.
- Now, it may get bigger, it may get a little bigger, it may not get bigger at all.
That pretty much covers everything. When you cover every possibility, you aren't saying anything at all. If I tell you that in the next few days the market could go up or it could go down, will you think that I'm giving you any useful information?
Just re-read this and beginning to think that he might have been referring to his viagra trial to see if it helps his sex life
Very well said!
So...saying it’s possible it will was a bad thing?
Until it warms up and the virus dies... like every Corona variant does.
Get back to me when that happens.
In the meantime:
The World Economy is tanking, Dow Jones is losing Trillions of Market Cap, and Trump is sending amateurs and thinking the crisis will solve itself.
What he said is so vague and broad as to be meaningless. You and others commend him for saying something meaningless.
Trump also said it will just go away. Yes the markets do not agree with him for the time being.
It was broad......hence why he used it to intrpduce three doctors to discuss the topic.....
You're right, there was nothing to insult ABOUT
Here is the flow, so far!
That's about of it, well not counting the last post of you continuing to troll after the insult I guess some people cant take a polite warning or suggestion ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯
