We have both natural and man made barriers to slow the flow and direct them. What is left and the terrain that is open?

In all of this national emergency talk, I don't hear anything about stopping the root of the problem.
Which, if addressed properly, would make the wall unneeded.

You want a federal central repository for your fingerprints, DNA, picture and other personal information? Why not just require citizenship information be placed on your ID like your driver's license, non-drivers ID, SS card, of course if you have a passport that's a given, voter registration card. You already have to require three forms of ID, at least that last time I was hiring people back in the 2000's. In the 1970's in Chicago I hire LOTS of Mexicans, Puerto Rican, Cuban workers in a small manufacturing plant. There was either a VISA or a Green Card and especially the Green Card's could be forged and you never knew you couldn't tell. I have several guys who took leave and went back to Mexico when their family there let them know their card was approved and coming in and a week later they come back and she "Hey Juan have a nice trip?" and a response like "Yes and my name is Carlos". And you changed their records and they went back to their jobs.

 

What are you talking about? The company fired all the illegals that used forged documents. The law against employers requires them to knowingly hire illegals. When an illegal uses forged documents and even potentially conspired with someone to get around the law it’s hardly the companies fault

 

And what do you suggest we do we already spend billions down there. And whenever our government has tried to interdict and work with the most free market and democracy leaders there are in SA and CA, and they are not usually people we would like to deal with but you deal with what is there, the left slams the USA claims we are interfering and nation building and oppressing the people. And when we have these caravans which are increasing in size and numbers inundating our borders it becomes a national emergency. And Canadians are by far coming here legally and they are more attractive to us as a country as they are educated and skilled and more adept to our society and have little problem assimilating.

But usually if Russia is for 1 thing, it is something the USA is not interested in.

Russia is trying to support Muduro who like his Chavez is a socialist meaning he lives a very wealthy life along with his government officials and the rest of the country starves. Do you support Trump on this?

 

The whole "2000 mile wall" is a canard now. No one is talking a 2000 mile wall. This is ALL about barriers in strategic locations. Pelosi says NO not even that.

How many miles?
How many $$$$ for this?
How many will it stop?

Can it still be gone over, under, around, or smuggled through?
