Trump golfs at his Virginia club amid the coronavirus pandemic

If that's the case, Biden should be at 100% approval... the only time I've seen that guy in the past 2 months was on Colbert the other night...

The US is a member of WHO, but Trump hasn't named a representative and pays little to no attention. Additionally the CDC had people on the ground in Wuhan that Trump pulled at the request of his buddy Xi.

In spite of all that, we had very good intelligence on what was going on, yet South Korea and Japan, who are much closer to China, were able to do an infinitely better job. Trump was a colossal failure.

Trump was whining about not playing golf for nearly 3 months. Yet he golfed in March and it is still only May. I only count 1 month in between those two. You know he was dying to get on the golf courses all of April.

VA Comes Through for The Trumpster!

GOP Sweeps Harbinger Election in Virginia Democrat Stronghold.

With the November general election less than six months away, results of local and special elections are giving an eye-opening preview of voter sentiment.

Special congressional elections in California and Wisconsin this month both went to the the GOP after Democrats launched strong campaigns in both races. In California, Republican Mike Garcia beat Democrat Christy Smith by almost 10 points after receiving 10,000 fewer votes in the primary election just two months earlier. Garcia replaced Democrat Katie "Throuple" Hill, who resigned at the end of 2019, flipping a California House seat from blue to red for the first time in more than 20 years.

As stunning as Garcia's resounding victory for Republicans in California was, however, a shocking GOP blowout in the Staunton, Virginia city council election this week has given Democrats a reason to be alarmed.

Like many cities in Virginia through the last several years, Staunton has trended toward left-wing candidates in national and municipal elections, supporting Obama in both elections, and Crooked Hillary in 2016. The city also helped buoy Democrat governors Terry "The Forehead" McAuliffe and Ralph "Blackface" Northam to victory in the past two gubernatorial elections while consistently electing a majority of Democrats to the city council.

Blackface Northam angered Virginians at the onset of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic in the state, becoming one of the first Democrat governors to enact strict lock-down orders and called for a shutdown into mid-June just weeks into the crisis. He has since eased on his stringent orders for the state, but as he keeps the most populous counties in the northern part of the state on continued restriction and continues with a very slowly phased reopening plan everyone else, criticism against him remains at a Blackface melting pitch.

 

VA is Trump Country? Trump is very wise to bask in his VA sweep with some well deserved relaxation out in the sunshine and fresh air, getting a little exercise...

Election analysts and representatives of the August County Republican Committee agree that the unpopular gun legislation and Northam's response to COVID-19 factored into the GOP shellacking in Staunton this week.

"I’m rarely shocked by something that happens in politics, but I have to admit, I didn’t see this one happening," Graham said in a post-election analysis.

"This turning point for the city shows that the citizens want a change in their government," Austin Armentrout of the ACRC told Townhall. "Many people are getting involved in politics and making their voices heard around our country, and it is resulting in Republican victories. The Staunton City Council Election was one of many in the Commonwealth of Virginia that show a growing momentum for Republican candidates that will carry through into November when President Donald Trump and Congressman Ben Cline [R-VA 06] are re-elected."

With Republican victories in California and Virginia already on the books for 2020, Democratic Party operatives will be forced to look at how to reach voters clearly frustrated with state lock-downs that are almost entirely perpetuated by Democrat governors. Likewise, Democrat congressional candidates and incumbents must stand behind their actions during the last two years in which they pushed an unfounded impeachment of the president and blocked attempts to help Americans during the pandemic.

The trouncing in Staunton, a city that has supported almost every Democrat for more than 15 years, is a bellwether that Democrats across the country will be eager to ignore.

Could Be A FREEDOM and LIBERTY Election​

 

Virginia will not be voting for a GOP president in the rest of your lifetime...

My neighborhood has the population of Staunton... and it ain't Trump country...

 

Now, in a rare moment of overreach by the WAPO the AM, they are calling out Trump for golfing over the weekend (twice now I read) without wearing a mask.

Not necessary.

He should wear a mask when he tours factories or gives rambling speeches or otherwise annoys people in an enclosed area.

He doesn't need to wear a mask while golfing... Even with his large contingent (needed to both guard him and find his wayward shots), there's enough distancing while golfing to not have to use a mask.

 

I have zero problems with people playing golf, yet when we hear Donald Trump putting down Oblama for doing the same it's just hypocrisy at its greatest.

 

And you know Obama is being asked why he doesn't throw some of Trump's old golf tweets back at him.....

The answer is one of the two has class......Also, he has his ..... err I mean...... THE Deep State and MSM to do his work for him....

However it would have been a wonderful opportunity to send the message that even though some of the rules have relaxed we still have to take precautions

But Trump does not want to send that message

He wants to tell everyone that the pandemic is over and he was successful because “only” 100,000 died

Watch even if there is one death less than the worst case scenario of 2.2 million he will still claim victory

And his followers will swallow it
