Trump Has Degraded The Presidency

Just because you don't think Hillary Clinton is sleaze does not mean that she is not. She is just a different type of sleaze, but sleaze nonetheless.

 

Just because a President isn't PC and instantly takes sides like Obama did but instead calls out violence, bigotry, and calls for unity, well, that is what a President should do.

 

Many sides can mean anything. Again, what if Trump said the crisis on the Korean peninsula was the fault of many sides? People would rightly what to know exactly which sides he is talking about. Similarly, he needs to point out which sides he thinks are at fault.

 

How about all sides inciting violence? Well, that would be the left and the right extreme fringe. The left initiated violence at the rally throwing rocks, bottles, urine, and using mace. Why no coverage of that in the left wing media? I can tell you why because it is not an anti-Trump message.

 

Trump is the president, so Trump needs to specify who he is talking about. He appears to be saying white racism is ok, but he can't say it because he is president so he takes the cowardly way out and says "MANY" sides.

 

He did, anyone that creates violence and bigotry. That includes the violent left.

One only needs to read Herodotus or Aristotle to know of the dangers of democracy.

Still, majority rule is the most judicious form of government. Just dangerous in its own ways.

 

True majority rule tends to devolve into a strongman leader and dictatorship.

There can be good that can come of this. It can mean that the Congress can start calling the shots. It's their job to reign in the President, and it's been a long time since they've done that job.
