There are people with open-carry permits in California. I liked Reagan. He knew how to govern.

 

Even if Trump is making a fool of himself, his popularity is higher than Obama's was at this stage in his presidency.

Apparently the left’s characterization is again projection. It’s clear who the fools really are.

 

Obama was fighting the great recession and the country was suffering. Trump is just fighting with everybody and is riding the tide.
Wait until this economy crashes and he has no way to stimulate it.

 

I agree under Obama the country was suffering.

 

Trump shot himself in the foot.

Holding his usual news conference on south lawn of the White House with the usual background noise from the usual Marine One forcing everyone to shout, Trump said you need the census citizenship question “for many reasons.”

“Number one, you need it for Congress — you need it for Congress for districting,” Big Mouth said Friday. “You need it for appropriations — where are the funds going? How many people are there? Are they citizens? Are they not citizens? You need it for many reasons.”

Take note of that first one. The redistricting rationale was not used by government's case for good reason. Redistricting was the main reason the Supreme Court shot down the government's case. The plaintiffs in the case argued that this is a thinly veiled attempt by Republicans to gain a potential game-changing tool in redistricting.

Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. wrote, "Accepting contrived reasons would defeat the purpose of the enterprise." "Contrived" is judicial code for lying. The true purpose was redistricting for GOP benefit, and the Trump administration lied in its brief.

Mouth admitted it at his news conference. How stupid can you get.

Following the morning news conference, Trump went on vacation in New Jersey.

 

Plus the Iraq war and the Afghan war.

 

Yes and not of his doing. Trump inherited a recovering economy.

Trump apparently didn't know that Obama was fighting the Great Recession, a global crisis and the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. Obama inherited the problem from the previous Republican administration.

Trump crows about the fact that our economy is setting history, ten straight years of boom. That has never happened before.

Trump has some catching up to do. Eight of those ten years were under the Obama administration.

 

Recessions recover naturally so how much was Obama over the 8 years? Maybe the last couple of years but the economies dynamics have changed under Trump, the same dynamics that Obama said were gone for good.

 

I keep arguing that Trump's fans have a real problem with reality. Those were real pictures on July 4th in Washington D.C., and it has only been 2 1/2 years.

 

It's almost like going to war against England had military nuances to it.

 

What reality in which picture would you like to discuss?

Why do they support Trump? I don't think they know.

 

Time drags when we see the same hate filled anti-Trump threads over and over and over. Kennedy had a lot more tanks in his parades. Nothing wrong with those pictures....in fact I didn't wait for all of them to load. Now I would have been upset had I seen "goose stepping" soldiers as in some of the leftist countries. Perhaps we might get that someday if the Democrat Party ever gets it's way!

 

The reason you don't get reaction, Sandy, is this.....your posts are always without a shadow of a doubt, 100% negative about our President. It mirrors the MSM. There are a lot of positive things that could be said about most any President. It is a given.....you will never say anything positive about this one. Why? Because like the MSM, you are in the tank for establishment globalism and that is why Patriots don't give you the time of day! Now go and burn some Betsy Ross flags!

Oh good, let's talk about reality.

The court didn't say the question couldn't be asked.

The court didn't say that usage of Executive power didn't meet the requirement.

All they said was that the reason submitted wasn't sufficient.

I can't wait until it's litigated, and the question is asked "How does asking if you're a citizen skew elections in the favor of Republicans?".

You know, since there's only one possible answer to that question.

 

The reason I don't get a reaction from Trump's fans like you is that they are incapable of defending Trump. You are a Trump fan, and you never defend Trump. Your posts always focus on me.

Why don't you say some positive things about Trump, defend him from his critics? If you can't say positive things about Trump, how can you expect his critics to?

I simply report what Trump says and does. I am not the bad guy here. Trump is.

The answer is that skewing isn't what this is all about. It is about using the answers to hunt down non-citizens to toss 'em.
