Trump Is Still Begging Georgia Officials To Overturn The 2020 Election Results

This is no longer funny, but sad now that this man-child is still fixated on overturning the election?!!

Officials in Georgia have repeatedly informed the president that there was no widespread voter fraud in the state.

Former President Donald Trump is still trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election, more than nine months after he lost ― and one day before a planned rally in support of the various people charged for the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

On Friday, the former president sent a letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger with more claims of voter fraud ― even though thorough efforts to root out alleged voter fraud in the state, and across the country, have come up empty. The Republican state officials who oversaw the election have repeatedly said that Trump’s claims of widespread fraud in Georgia are false.

In Friday’s dispatch, Trump cited a post on Georgia Star News, a pro-Trump website launched in the days after the November election that is part of a wider network of pro-Trump sites. Steve Bannon, a former Trump aide, described the site as “very populist,” “very nationalist” and “very MAGA,” NPR reported.

The website claims that it received documents in response to an open records request that showed more than 43,000 DeKalb County ballots had not been processed correctly.

“It’s an absurd claim,” Emory University political science Professor Alan Abramowitz told HuffPost.

Oh my god. Anyone who reads that letter and doesn't come away knowing Trump is off his rocker needs their own head examined. You can tell that Trump wrote it himself. Just a piece:

He is so lucky he had professionals write for him when he was POTUS. Didn't matter since he constantly went rogue but I would be embarrassed if he had to write professional letters to other heads of state and VIPs.

There were ZERO thorough investigations. Because there were ZERO signature verification audits of an entire county. Which is the ONLY way to definitively know if they cheated or not. The same signature verification audits the democrats stonewalled at every turn.

 

Georgia is controlled by Repubs though and through. If they felt the need for a signature verification audit they could have done one.

Not really accurate. Every state in the Union has certified their elections as free and fair and has appointed their EC members off of that vote, which the United States Congress then verified as being free and fair and the Vice President of the United States then certified.

You are the one claiming they are all are lying or wrong or just to stupid to know better, thus it is your burden to prove your position. You are the one making the claim that goes against what has been done.

Every state runs their elections. Have been doing so for 200 yrs or since they joined the Union.
Every State has an election commission. Rs and Ds fill those positions.
Ga is a republican controlled state. They certified, counted and recounted their ballots. The R gov signed off the election was legit.
Each and every State gov signs off on the certified ballots that were done by the election commissions, Rs and Ds.

You want to find something that simply isn't there. That's why it's called THE BIG LIE.

It has nothing to do with liking Trump or not. Nobody ever questioned the leader of Ga's loyalty to Trump prior to the election, they are all seen as his allies. But there is a limit to how much cheating and lying some people are willing to do for the man.
