Doesn't matter... Trump cannot win again...

The next poll will have him back at the norm of 45%..

I predict that figure will rise after the SOTU address.

More bad news for the LW from the link:
Sixty-three percent of Americans now approve of the way Trump is handling the economy, up six points from the prior reading in November. It is the highest economic approval rating not only for Trump, but for any president since George W. Bush enjoyed stratospheric job approval ratings in the first few months after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Trump's ratings for handling foreign affairs (47%) and foreign trade (50%) are also his best to date.

As Trump's job approval rating has improved, so has the image of the Republican Party. Now, 51% of Americans view the Republican Party favorably, up from 43% in September. It is the first time GOP favorability has exceeded 50% since 2005.

Meanwhile, 45% of Americans have a positive opinion of the Democratic Party, a slight dip from 48% in September.

Additionally, the poll finds 48% of Americans identifying as Republicans or leaning toward that party, compared with 44% Democratic identification or leaning. Recent Gallup polls had shown a fairly even partisan distribution, after the Democratic Party held advantages for much of 2019.

Life is good.....I sure hope the Dems try another impeachment.

Once the Dem's nominee is decided.....it'll definitely be higher.

Interesting that the republican turnout in Iowa was the highest ever for an incumbent president. Couple that with the Trump rallies where people wait outside for well over 24 hours just for a chance to get in says something about voter enthusiasm for this president.

This is not a surprise....not after the horrible job the House Dems did in this sham impeachment. The White House lawyers did an amazing job highlighting the absolute abuse of power by the Dems

Whatever stops the tears. Its not that Trump is all that great; it is that the dems could only muster up a steaming pile of candidates to run against him. Your team has successfully made him the lesser of evils to those of us without a political party.

If he got Obama's press he'd be at 70%.

I'm on neither team... if you have an issue with the current nominees, take it up with a Democrat

There is absolutely nobody running for the Dem nomination (Wait!! Mariane Whatername is gone, right?) who wouldn't be an improvement on Donald Trump as president, although some substantially more than others...

I see 4 Senators (if you count Bennet), 1 Former VP, 1 Former NYC Mayor, 1 Former small town mayor, and a dark horse fun candidate (Yang).

Plenty to choose from there, if you are willing to look.

Me? Since I don't have a voice in that process, I'll vote for whomever emerges with a sparkly clean conscience...

Another piece of Obama legacy stomped on by Trump. Previously Obama held the record for turnout for an incumbent in a primary, Trump blew through that by more than 20%. But don't worry dems, he can't possible get reelected. :lick:

Or even if Trump made any attempt to act like a civilized human being.

Instead of Crapping on The Constitution, Disgracing the Office, Hating America, Doing Putin's Bidding, and Committing Treason (on a Daily Basis).

^If he just stopped constantly doing the things enumerated in the above sentence, I bet he would be above 49%.

    Just Saying...:salute:

I'm sure you believe all that. If it's all true, your party should win in a cakewalk this Nov., right?

What 'treason' did Trump commit today?

Let's see now; the Left is running a senile former vice president, an avowed socialist wacko, a false Native-American wacko and a gay-guy whom Blacks won't vote for. I'd say that Trump is in huge danger . . . of laughing himself silly.

While undergoing an Impeachment trial? Wow...

I guess you can do that when you are almost above the law... Big Ern and Trump....

They also reportedly use the same stylist...

I don't think the bump he has received from the Democratic Party Impeachment Circus, his international deals, the economy, etc. are done. yet. He may also get an additional bump from the SOTU speech.

Democrats have yet to figure out that the Orange Ogre thrives in chaos.
