Trump's Longtime Finance Chief Expected To Plead Guilty In New York Tax Case
Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg is expected to plead guilty as soon as Thursday in a tax evasion case.

Donald Trump’s longtime finance chief is expected to plead guilty as soon as Thursday in a tax evasion case that is the only criminal prosecution to arise from a long-running investigation into the former president’s company, three people familiar with the matter told The Associated Press.

Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg was scheduled to be tried in October on allegations he took more than $1.7 million in off-the-books compensation from the company, including rent, car payments and school tuition.

This is breaking news and updates will be coming.
Time and time again, we have witnessed that those who have associations with Crooked Donnie Trump find themselves in legal difficulties. The same thing that I wrote in the thread
Rudy Giuliani told by prosecutors he is a target in Georgia 2020 presidential election probe.

It is another question whether the soon-to-be-convicted criminal, Allen Weisselberg, will flip on Crooked Donnie and also what can of damage will the Trump Organization sustain, especially in light of the ongoing civil case being conducted against the Trump Organization by the state of New York.

What he's being busted for isn't the biggest of deals. From what I've quoted below, people (politicians) who get free meals, car rides, plane rides, etc, should have to pay taxes on that stuff. Biden just stayed rent free in a $20 million dollar house that belonged to someone else and I doubt he will be busted. Also, based on what's below, should a full ride college scholarship be taxed? I mean, fair is fair, right? And if this guy is looking at 5 months, then I'm sure Hunter Biden is looking at a lot more time than that. I guess we'll eventually find out if the scales of justice are equally balanced.

What is there to "flip" on? The "rent" is debatable because it could be considered to be for the convenience of his employer but employer paid tuition (for his kid) and vehicle is taxable income. I'm not sure how it can be argued that it's Trump's fault that he didn't claim these benefits on his taxes.

Good point. Since one particular person is living in the minds of many, rent free, is he also guilty of tax evasion?

The govt is sending a loud and clear message to anyone who wishes to disrupt corrupt DC, shall have all resources come to bear on them.

They dug into this guy because he worked for Trump. Look at the investigating that has been done just looking for any crime

Americans, and that includes Democrat voters, should rail against this.

So now the right wingers here are ok with tax fraud.

And they want prosecutors to avoid people who commit tax fraud if they're involved in right wing politics.

So, the Trump company did nothing wrong, but the CFO wrote himself some checks and didn't count them as income. Glad the government got this tax cheat.

This is a smart legal move my former CFO Allen Weisselberg. The plea deal may shorten the time he is in prison if there are conditions placed such as testifying against Trump or his family in any upcoming trial for state tax evasion.

Who is next? Crooked Donnie Trump himself? Who in their right mind would want to associate with a criminal like Crooked Donnie knowing that so many in his inner circle have been convicted or who are in legal jeopardy?

that's your take-away.???? They investigated him solely because he was associated with Trump. It is very sad if you are OK with any American having that done to them.

This is bigger than "go team Democrat" and hopefully you will come to realize that

They investigated him because he was responsible party in a suspected corrupt organization.
And guess what ? They were right.

I'm fine with that. It's called "due process" and it's as big as it gets.

Bye bye Trump Org. Don't worry though, he's got another lucrative grift going on with his supporters and maybe even Espionage on the side.

One corrupt organization at a time. Drip....drip....drip...

Of course, the sheep that he keeps shearing will continue to bleat about witch hunts and persecution. This won't stop the investigations and prosecutions. Maybe some day they will accept how obviously and completely the Orange Stain has betrayed the public trust. Then again, maybe they will go to their graves whispering
    "witch hunt"......

Maybe my Rosey red, has everyone forgotten how he literally threw the people who were supposed to monitor his conversations with a hostile foreign power out of the ****** room before he had extensive dealings with a Russian spymaster? This was one of his first orders of business back in 2017. I wonder how many of our deep cover people he KILLED to curry favor with BFF Vladdy back then.
