What exactly was the nature of this "torture"?

He was proven guilty. Then Trump pardoned him.

Nice to see the Right openly advocate murder. Bookmarking your post next time the Right tries to claim they have the moral high ground on anything.

Only a fair trial can prove guilt.

I never project morality, but I do point out when morality is invoked by the immoral.

    Thank you.
When the US begins intentionally murdering POWs, it is no better than the "terrorists" we're fighting.

Once the locals learn that US Troops kill POWs with impunity, how do you think they will treat captured Americans

Stripping an unarmed prisoner naked and shooting him multiple times isn't murder?

"Behenna and the sergeant stripped Mansur naked except for his sandals; Behenna removed Mansur’s zip-tie handcuffs with a knife, cutting Mansur as he did so and prompting the translator to offer his help.

Behenna ordered Mansur to sit on a slab of cement and began interrogating him. After one to two minutes of questioning with no answers to his liking, Behenna took out his Glock pistol and pointed it at Mansur, an action that a military judge would later call an “assault.” Sensing the imminent threat of shots, ..... the translator moved outside of the culvert, about thirty feet away from Behenna and Mansur. With his gun trained on Mansur, Behenna told Mansur again (in Arabic) that he would die that day unless he told Behenna who was responsible for the IED attack that killed his men, “This is your last chance,” Behenna told him, although at that moment he only had the authority to release Mansur, and not to intimidate, question, or kill him."

POTUS does not decide whether a person convicted by the military receives parole. "Muzzie"? Really? SMH. I guess this is just another case of consider the RW source. The ignorance of your post is boundless. If I have broken the rules in saying that, so be it. Your opinion that the murder of someone is justified based on their religion is horrendous and goes against the very core beliefs of civilized society and the standards our country was built on.

By the way Behenna was paroled in 2014. Who was in office in 2014?

No, they are desperation mode and cannot think clearly. Any opportunity to attack President Obama is fair game to the Trumpanzeez, regardless of how ludicrous and baseless the reason for the attack may be.

If true that is not torture. Compared to your description HS girls' powder-puff touch football is far closer to real torture.
It probably did violate current US military law, but given that the trial was unfair Behenna is still presumed innocent.

It violated the UN's definition of torture, which the US agrees with.

Just unproven allegations until it is proved through a fair trial.

Then the US agrees to a foolish definition of torture.

“One incident involved females hazing underclassmen at a Powderpuff football game … both verbal and physical violence, and at least twenty juniors total were targeted. Some victims were punched and kicked and one had a cooler slammed over her head. They were covered with urine, paint, fish guts, and trash, wrapped with pig intestines, and smeared with feces. One girl needed stitches and another had a broken ankle. One was forced to eat excrement, resulting in a bacterial infection. All of this was videotaped and viewed around the world.” Laura L. Unproven allegations against the soldier cannot support your position.

Pretty much how they already treat them which is to torture the **** out of them and chop off their heads on camera.

Everyone involved in the trial agreed with the facts that the prisoner was unarmed, stripped naked, and shot multiple times. The murderer claimed it was self-defense, as if an Army Ranger who has backup is at threat from an unarmed, naked man.

And if that was done by the government it would meet the definition of torture.

I believe this was a terrible move by Donald Trump. I have no doubt that the radical left will now descend and utterly destroy this man's life. There are plethora of left wing outlets completely demonizing him as we speak.
