After eight years of a Trump administration, judge shopping will require far more effort for the lefties.

I had no clue that trump was paid more and got his wealth from his tv show. Hell, I thought he made his fortune in the real estate field.

So, if an objective person were to look at trump, and his wealth, would they consider him a success or not? Sure they would. That his haters refuse to do this is on them, and it reveals something very hateful about these people.

I don't care for his bragging though, but he has a history of this. I once worked for a millionaire that if you saw his house it was obvious he was really rich. But if you saw him in daily life, driving an dodge car, several years old, and his dress was from Fred's Dollar Store, you would think he was just an lower middle class old man. My kind of man. Trump isn't. But he is my president and I want him to be successful if it helps my peer group, working americans. Unlike his haters.

    Bravo Trump :applause:
The Hammonds have been over prosecuted and persecuted as their family
ranch has been coveted by Federal bureaucrats to include in neighboring Federal lands.
    The Hammond family refused.

Yes, an attempted control burn got out of control and burned some 100 acres of Federal land.
But, did the prosecution and sentencing match the crime? No. It was maximized.

Some of the story goes of a prison sentence served, released
then Federal appeal the sentence was to short to back to prison he went.

    Yes, Over Prosecution and Persecution.
    It happens.
That's why Bundy et al supported the Hammond family and the Hammonds disavowed Bundyites.

Remember Ruby Ridge. Persecution happens out west.

    BRAVO TRUMP :applause:

    WOW, what a CORRUPT TRIAL!

"Dusty testified they told him they’d wanted to “get rid of the juniper trees and something else.” The “something else” Dusty mentioned they were hoping to get rid of was, according to federal prosecutors, evidence of poaching deer on federal land."

So a deal was made with Dusty they won't prosecute him if he will testify against his family. On that alone, as a jury I would have 100% disregarded ANYTHING he testified too. MOST people will say ANYTHING to avoid or get out of prison.

Was ANY evidence presented on the theory the fire was started to hide poaching on federal land? NO. NONE.

The judge ended up being SO corrupt - or the appeals judges - they summarily abolished the constitutional right to a jury and imposed a sentence the jury REFUSED to impose. It is VERY likely the jury would have found them not guilty rather than imposed 5 year terms. The rational view is they thought a slap on the wrist for being careless in a burn off was a good lesson, but that they were NOT arsonists.

So they were convicted ONLY by federal judges declaring the US Bill of Rights is null and void and then a conviction upon absolutely nothing but prosecutor speculation on a bought off witness who had not even made that speculation himself. EVERYONE who knows anything about law and trials knows that a prosecutor's statements has absolutely ZERO value as evidence - so they were imprisoned in exactly violation of the Bill of Rights upon absolutely zero evidence.

And the New Fascist Democratic Party cheers it.

It was Obama who became the first president to get himself a law that said he could have anyone - even any American - secretly assassinated that he wants to. So we'll never know how many Americans he had killed.

You apparently have no understanding of the basic implications of power. The acceptance of the governed always needs to be secured in some way, whether through fear, strength, or pleasure. And while Trump may idolize and envy dictators, he is in fact limited by the system of government we have.

Trump is the biggest scumbag to ever occupy the oval office, but this isn't an important pardon one way or the other.

Sure. But emperors do it through strength and fear. Leaders of democracy do it through pandering to the wishes of their supporters.
Precisely, which is why it was stupid to call him and Emperor, as you did.
Heck, you say that about all the Republican Presidents.

Huh? I didn't call him an emperor. I was quoting another poster. But who cares. The point of calling him that would be to correctly point out that he wants unlimited power and doesn't care about hurting people or breaking rules to get what he wants.

Yes I do believe the republican party tends to nominate "evil" idiots. Though Bush Jr and Reagan were mostly idiots and Trump is both.

I care about the stupidity of calling someone an Emperor who is desperate to please people. If you defend that statement you are defending stupidity.

How original. What would we ever do without your insight!
