    You
No they do not and you do not understand the biological difference between a sperm and a zygote as I pointed out.

As I said, when you can no longer debate on the merits. And the protein, keratin, that makes up a fingernail is not alive. It's a chemical substance. If I were you I would stop digging your holes with your biologically fallacious statements.

A human zygote remains a human at that stage of a human's life. A life that began at it's conception. Facts you cannot refute.

Has nothing to do with this discussion or my statement and yes I oppose the mass production of embryos which are then purposely killed in order to get one that will live.

I have repeatedly and you have ignored....why is that? Zygotes are grown in the lab in dishes for IVF. Can they do that with fingernail clippings? Why haven't you answered?

This has everything to do with the discussion. You can't dodge by denying your own arguments.

The argument is when a human life becomes a person. By your argument, babies are being killed at a rate of 9-1 when a 41 year old woman undergoes IVF treatment. Making a blanket statement here does not explain why the political arm of the pro-life movement is not calling for the criminalization of artificial fertilization and implantation.

Since there is no such outcry - from you or anyone else - I can safely conclude that the pro-life movement isn't interested in babies at all. It is interested in political power.

    All Babies Matter

not just those who are aborted

Dude - I gave you both Definitions of the word "Human Being" so you would not be confused - but either you are a hard study - or just being obtuse.

I said "A Sperm is a human being in the sense you are using the word. Both the sperm and zygote conform to this definition of "Human Being"

You claim that a zygote is a Human because it is a "Human Being"

While I agree that a zygote is a "Human Being" - in the descriptive adjective sense - as per Defn 2) I do not agree that it is a "Human Being" in the Noun usage of the word.

So your definition is then based on 2 - a "human being" having 2 characteristics 1) that it is Human - in the descriptive adjective sence and that it is 2) Alive - living - in being.

Claiming it is based on 1 - would be logical fallacy - circular up the yang" akin to saying "Its a human because its a Human" Assumed premise fallacy on steroids.

So by definition 2 - the only one you can lay claim to - and I agree with this definition of Human being being applied to the zygote - the sperm is as much of a "Human Being" as the Zygote being both Human - and Alive.

If you wish to claim that the zygote is "A Human" - then you must show that this claim is true by explaining why - a zygote should be considered a human.

In this you have failed miserably - all your arguments refuted -

You then continue with this rubbish - more strawman fallacy - and false accusations - your tradmark.
Quote where I said any of the above - you are the one who has demonstrated biological ineptitude not I.

What facts - you havn't said anything other than "A Zygote is a human because it is a Human" circular rubbish on steroids.

Is repetition of premise the best argument you can come up with ?

"The moon is made of Green Cheese because - The moon is made of Green Cheese" Wonderful - with that kind of sound argument how could I have thought otherwise.

Go Away - you are not a serious person.

It it is a giraffe zygote feel free to call it a baby giraffe. You couldn't figure that out on your own? Why would you call a human zygote a giraffe?

Well, the zygote grows for a few hours into an embryo. Of course fingernail clippings don't grow, but guess what we can grow? A human esophagus.

For the first time, researchers have managed to create a human esophagus in the laboratory. This may pave the way for new, regenerative treatments.

The question is this. The esophagus is both human and alive. Is it a person?

    Why call any zygote a baby ? It isn't a baby , it's a zygote....if I call it a giraffe that doesn't make it a giraffe :)

BTW, have you mad any headway with the Supreme Court over what you call a "baby" ??? :)

As I have shown you over and over it is recognized as a baby by governments of several countries and medical websites. You do understand giraffe's aren't humans they have giraffe zygotes/babies.

And esophagus which is just PART of a human. You know the difference between a complete being and it's tissues and organs?

    No, they aren't.
A zygote is also part of a human, and has no tissues nor organs.
