Trump Says No Deal With Mexico Reached as Border Arrests Surge

I never thought I would say this but I am actually becoming a fan of Mexico.

Since the new president was sworn in they have taken a hard turn to locking down this problem, not on their own of course but because Trump is forcing them to but it seems they are getting a new mindset down there.

Finally, after all this time, Mexico is seeing there is a problem and are reacting as a responsible nation should react.

All due to Trump.

If Mexico continues on this track I think we should offer them some sweeter deals. We could help lift them to our level if they truly want to be an all and I think that is what their president sees.

If Mexico and the US get together in a coherent strategy we could possibly end this entire immigration problem for both of our nations. I would even propose that if they block immigration that we allow Mexicans something like a preferred immigration status so they can come here and work at will then return home without going through becoming a citizen.

Something along those lines.

The funding was cut AFTER the caravans started to head towards our border, so apparently that funding had NO impact on the number of asylum seekers headed our way. Based on the stories of corruption and oppression that these people are running from, I also serious doubt that these people benefited much from that funding.

 

How is Trump making the border crises worse?

When Trump speaks people hear him say build a wall, keep the illegals out and deport the illegals who are here.

When liberals speak the illegals hear them say sanctuary cities, path to citizenship, free healthcare, benefits, benefits and more benefits, allow illegals to vote, free education, walls are racist, abolish ICE, tear down the existing border barriers, and everyone on the planet should be allowed to come here.

 

we can help them there or expect more to come here, it costs us more when they come here then just helping their country with aid to get them back on their feet

How about trying to stand up to the narcothugs? The US fueled illegal drug economy produced these scumbags but even they can't target all of the population. Its better to target a relative few of the more uncooperative to terrorize or at least shut the rest up.

A wall doesn't solve the problems that cause of this human migration. It merely treats the symptoms, after the fact.

 

This is something we have needed for a long time. A plan.

Now enact national everify, reform birthright citizenship, place penalties on sanctuary cities, cut off all state and federal programs to illegals and exchange it all for national voter ID and a public healthcare option. The democrats will not be able to refuse and America will become stronger.

 

Once upon a time there was a massive bipartisan immigration plan.
