Libs love illegals. They have devoted their entire cities to them. They shield them from ICE. I say start with California, then "Free" attle and Portland. Then Chicago, NYC etc. The border towns have had this for a long time, now it's Libs' turn to feed them, house, them and educate them until a judge decides their fate. An even better idea is to review the whole asylum process to include a requirement that they seek asylum in the first country they enter, not passing through multiple countries until they get to the US.

 

There is plenty of blame to go around. Democrats and Republicans have both bent over backwards to accommodate illegal immigration. I live on the border and have seen the situation first hand. Even today, with a thousand illegals a day flowing across the border the Border Patrol are wasting resources stopping citizens in the middle of the freeway 30 miles north of the border, creating massive traffic jams instead of stopping the migration. It does not matter what job you give government to do, they will completely screw it up.

The San Clemente Border Patrol Station maintains a full-time traffic checkpoint on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5. It is one of seven stations in the San Diego Border Patrol Sector and operations one of four checkpoints. Checkpoint activities are directed against the smuggling of illegal aliens and narcotics away from the border area.

The strategy of the San Clemente checkpoint evolved from line-watch activities and is tied directly to border enforcement activities. The strategic importance of San Clemente lies in its placement at a major route of egress from the immediate border, thus enabling the Border Patrol to provide a depth of defense beyond the international boundary and to effect broader border security throughout the border area.

Vehicular traffic is inspected at the checkpoint by officers manning positions on the freeway. Due to heavy traffic volume, contact with motorists is minimal with prolonged questioning and vehicle inspections taking place in the Secondary Inspection site.

The San Clemente Station participates in a variety of community activities.

We had 4800 illegals in one day! Send them all to sanctuary cities, they have demanded them be let in, they should deal with it. But we know how it is, they will move near me, then start voting the left in.

 

According to various reports, support for the migrant caravans is drying up in the nation of Mexico. They are not getting further assistance in the form of supplies, shelter, or transportation for their journey to the united states.

 

Federal judges are trying to force the Administration to let the "refugee" applicants in while their claims are being processed.

I totally agree. What's with all the hohumming around. Just do it! Pick the illegals up and dump them in sanctuary cities. Since Trump became president the border problem has actually gotten worse. Since Trump ran on an anti-immigrant platform this shouldn't be happening. Two and a half years later, he hasn't accomplished a dam thing when it comes to illegal immigration.
I am beginning to wonder if he isn't just a master con man telling his base what he knows they want to hear. He has hired illegals himself,
and prefers hiring them--like the Polish construction workers he was paying $5/hour to for demolishing one of his properties. They were so poor they had to sleep on the job site.
Trump is a rich man and has been his whole life. He doesn't care a wit about the American working class, and neither do any of his billionaire friends. They don't want illegal immigration to stop, and want to increase the number of work visas. I hold no hope that Trump will do anything at all about illegal immigration.
Trump is looking into busing illegals to sanctuary cities. Well he's been looking for awhile. Time to do it or shut up.
Tidbit: The Chinese, Indians, Israelis, Egypt, and Thailand, to name a few, have either built walls to keep out illegals, or have refused to let illegals stay in the country. Korea allows them to stay and work at low-wage jobs but they are not eligible for benefits. Saudi Arabia just rounded up 5 million illegals and shipped them out of the country. Sigh.
