The Facebook ads have been the subject of FBI investigations and Congressional hearings all because the left needed to find an excuse for Clinton's defeat. That's been the left's argument from the day after the election.

 

Yeah the one where they go on about Page being a Russian agent for 400 pages, but have no evidence of him being a Russian agent, and didn't even charge him for FARA violations like they did Manafort....let alone any serious crime.

So they claim. But we also know that according to Downer, Special Counsel Mueller overstated what Downer heard. Downer said they spoke of dirt, but nothing concrete. It's an convenient yet unprovable argument by the Counsel. Basically he/she said

 

The justification for the investigation was built on a bogus pile of sh-t. Trump is saying in a completely fair world, no investigation would ever have been launched. And reasonable people agree with that.

He hasn't commented on whether the results should be released.

Those are two separate issues.

 

Why isn't the NYT or Washington Post implicated? They posted the material too, so didn't they collude with the Russians?
