It was just the evidence they submitted to apply for an illegal wiretap.

There is less than a 1% chance of anything even implying Trump's innocence will be in Mueller's report. Pointing out innocence just tells his supporters that he couldn't do the job, and that is a highly unlikely scenario,

You want to know a lie, but you really don't care if Trump or his minions broke the law. Smfh.

Folks defending a lifelong crook and grifter like Trump that would rob them and their old grannies blind if given the opportunity at his bogus university or for services rendered really cracks me up. It's like handing the keys to your house to a known thief and then begging him to beat you with the baseball bat he found in your garage. Definitely a way to measure the logic, self-respect and I.Q.'s of Trump supporters.

I don't know about that, but what people post certainly provides a means to measure logic, self-respect and I.Q.'s...

Well, rubes could have opted to attend Devry Univ. or Brown Mackie instead. And open border liberals pretty much hand over those house keys & baseball bats to illegals on a daily basis, so there's that to factor into your equation ...

But according to the FBI, it was Carter Page who was being investigated. I remember Comey's alibi being ... I mean explanation, being ... that Carter joining the campaign re-ignited suspicions about Page ... not Trump.

Suspicion regarding Trump and the people around him were universal outside of the bizzare little talk radio/Fox alternate world that Trump supporters live in.

Anyone who read the business page, or Googled Donald Trump in 2015, would have seen Felix Sater, Deripashka, Trump's pitiful and long running associations with Russians gangsters. I knew about them. But I naively assumed that even a fool like Trump would have people around him that would advise him to do the best he could to bury this.

The first obvious example that he was doing the opposite was when he installed Roger Stone's former business partner, and Moscow's man, Paul Manafort as campaign manager.

That had a lot of people scratching their heads.

Then there was the idiotic announcement of the Trump foreign policy "team", which included a couple of bag men, Carter Page (who had already been fluttered by the Russians and was of interest to the FBI for that reason) and George Papadopolous (another bag man who had just told the Trump campaign that his Russian contact has told him that the Russian has been the ones behind the recently revealed hacks of the DNC)

And, throughout the campaign, we would learn of a few of the meetings between Trump campaign officials and Russian intelligence assets.

We know a lot more now. Including the sharing of normally confidential internal polling data with the intelligence sevices of a rival power in the middle of a Presidential campaign, and at least one all hands on deck meeting between the senior Trump campaign staff and Russian intelligence operatives for the stated purpose of influencing the American election.

There is nothing normal, or acceptable about any of it.

At best, it demonstrates the poor judgement.

And poor judgement is rampant in the Trump Administration.

Still repeating the same old Swill The were many investigations into Trump's gangsta campaign members before the Steel dossier. Trumps campaign manager (Manafort) was already a heavily investigated criminal before the Steel Dossier. and is now a convicted criminal, back stabber and jury rigger. And he wasn't the only one being looked into at the time. The fact is that Mueller took over many of the CIA/FBI investigations into the Trump criminal enterprises AFTER becoming special counsel. There was the idiotic announcement of the Trump foreign policy "team", which included a couple of bag men, Carter Page (who had already been fluttered by the Russians and was of interest to the FBI for that reason) and George Papadopolous (another bag man) who had just told the Trump campaign that his Russian contact told him that the Russians had been the ones behind the recently revealed hacks of the DNC)

Also the state of New York is looking into more of Trumps criminal enterprises. Trump and his administration are the most investigated in the entire history of U.S presidents. You are oblivious to all this. A true Orange swill drinker.

"Trump says there should be no Mueller report"

I would expect a guilty man to say that, do guilty people ever want the truth to come out?

They wouldn’t have opened an investigation if they didn’t think there was something serious. An investigation investigates the proof!

Regardless of how you remember it, they were investigating whether Trump or anyone on his campaign was working with Russia in their attempts to interfere in our election.

Complete Bull there were FBI investigations which began in late July 2016 and were ongoing. In May 2017, former FBI Director Mueller was appointed as special council in the FBI's already ongoing investigations.
Rosenstein didn't agree with you. He already knew of a Trump Russian link because of investigations before Mueller. That's enough . Sorry this is America and you and your swarm of Trumpadumps do not control the justice department decisions. And once again your pal Manafort a criminal campaign manager for Trump, a backstabber and jury rigger and his other convicted cronies have no right to be near American Presidential politics. And of course New York State is also investigating Trumps criminal enterprises. Get over it.

Trumpster cling to this particular meme like Linus to a security blanket!

Ever since Devin Nunes rushed to the White House with his "stunning revalations", the Trump crowd has held on to this idiotic meme. They keep finding ways to keep recycling the stories. They never tire of it. I'm very sure, that this will acquire legendary status in right wing mythology, up there with Vince Foster and birtherism.

And, I have suspected for some time, that this obsession with the FISA warrant to wiretap Carter Page is a real sore point with the Trump team. They keep mentioning it specifically.

But Carter Page has not been charged with anything.

So, why the obsession with Page????????

Your conspiracy theory noted. Still third world behavior. Very Stalinist approach to law.

Yep, noted in the IG report and another coming out soon. Insiders fired for their behavior, etc. You just don't hear about it because late night comedians don't mention it.

Announcing you are investigating a candidate due to personal politics? Nah. Wouldn't be prudent.
