Trump sends the wrong message on New Zealand. World leaders must denounce the attack.

The article above goes on to make the connection between trump's demagoguery and the increase in right-wing violence, but what struck me most when I started to read it was the phrase I bolded above. It describes exactly what trump is about.
He routinely incites violence at his rallies, engages in venomous retaliation against anyone who complains about him, and tries to divide the country. His recent bragging about how the bikers, cops and military were behind him and would put up a fight for him against other Americans were typically deplorable.
How anyone still thinks this character is potus material is beyond me.
I've known him since the 70s and he deserved to be in jail numerous times instead of heading up the far right movement.
I believe that there is now a clear and present danger from the far right and things may get uglier before they get better.

Trump did not send the wrong message on what happened in New Zealand.

Meh, Muslims slaughter Christians and the snowflakes are silent.

How many threads have been started by them on this issue?

The shooter disagreed with Trump’s politics, was an eco-fascist, and admired China.

And of course you and yours are playing right in to his sentiments by trying desperately to make this about guns instead of the despicable human being that did the shooting

If only they were silent... they are blaming the victims, blaming Christianity, blaming Trump, blaming Israel, blaming republicans, blaming colonization... lest we forget that they are blaming the guns and NRA.

We already know, going into posts like this, that Trump supporters will oppose the views of those of us who do not support him. That's just how the game is played. And, often, the criticisms go off topic. As we see in this thread.

@Surfer Joe made a pretty clear assertion: He routinely incites violence at his rallies, engages in venomous retaliation against anyone who complains about him, and tries to divide the country. His recent bragging about how the bikers, cops and military were behind him and would put up a fight for him against other Americans were typically deplorable. If you are being honest with yourselves, you know this is true. There are countless examples, including the recent tweet referencing the toughness of his supporters (police, military, bikers).

I understand and respect your support of his policies. I don't happen to agree with them, but I do respect your right to do so. But your support of how he has conducted himself as POTUS isn't understandable. So could you please enlighten me? Help me to understand your support of how this man speaks and acts as the leader of our country...

Really easy my man. It is about damn time that some one on my side of the aisle fought back against the unceasing calumny that the left has been shoveling our way since Adlai Stevenson first tried to convince the American people that Ike was too damn dumb to be president. When that didn't work we started being called Fascist by people with no clear idea what Fascism actually entails, which while understandable since Fascism seems to mean what ever furious leader happens to want it to at the moment, is still dishonest since in the main the left in this country behaves in a far more fascist manner than almost anyone in the country including the handful of decrepit old neo Nazis around the country. After screaming Fascist at everyone ceased to produce any measurable result they started screaming racist while frequently acting more racist than most of the people they were accusing.

In short sir I tolerate Trumps behavior because taking the high road only got us more grief. In short the never ceasing flood of vitriol from the left over the last 70 years, got you Trump.

    And the lies

The lib news media is trying to blame trump for what happened in New Zealand and that is a damn lie

    @garyd and @Mac-7

So, if I understand your points, you are supporting Trump - right or wrong - because of the attacks of the left over the years? I suppose I can understand that. Hatred for an opposing party can certainly fortify the support for the opposition of that party. I'm just, sincerely, sorry for you that you got Trump. And I hope that he is primaried and loses the candidacy so that you can rally support behind a candidate who is worthy of your support.

    Probably went bowling together

It's what sticking your hand in other people's pockets while incessantly calling them names like greedy, hateful, racist and homophobic does to people.
You are causing the problem with your insatiable appetite for other people's stuff and unrelenting attacks on their character. And, you've predictably shown up to try to score political points by smearing your political opponents further with the hate and racism cards.

The President is not, should not and never will be your moral preacher. That'd disgrace the WH even more than any of Trump's transgressions.
In a secular country such as ours, the president must not make ridiculous comments like "The police acted stupidly" Or "If I had a son" remember those comments?

Instead, it's crucial to use neutral-effective words to not only reach such a wide-ranging audience but to have said audience buy in. Regrettably because it's Donald Trump(and solely because its him) these neutral-effective words are deemed 'racist' or some other. Had Obama tried to communicate this way, his regime might not have collapsed by 2014.

Only when it's Trump must he only acknowledge one side as evil, not both(Charlottesville).Despite the fact there were active belligerents on both sides! If allowed to go on, I'm sure a few neo-nazis would've ended up dead too. That they didn't is a great testimony to LEO'S on the scene.

Only when it's Trump does a politician go on her soap box because Trump rightly dismissed 'White Nationalists' as a small group of people with problems, because "Its not normal" to be a competent speaker. The president has acted more and more presidential each year, and his opponents have shown themselves to be lunatics.

Given this, in spite of all woes that exist for Trump I'm going to endorse him for 2020 because a vote for insanity is worse than a vote for Trump.

    Neutral effective like these?
“I have the support of the police, the support of the military, the support of Bikers for Trump,” Trump told Breitbart in the interview, which he later tweeted. “I have the tough people, but they don’t play it tough until they go to a certain point, and then it would be very bad, very bad.”

Nothing Trump is going to say will be right according to the democrats. I heard him say the New Zealanders had his support for whatever they needed. If he had denounced the terrorists, they would claimed that he should have been more sympathetic.and offered support.

You left out the part where the shooter praise Trump for bringing out white supremacy but he didn’t like his politics. And when have Christians been silent when attacked by Muslims? This is what extremists do

And I currently believe Trump is worthy of my support. We are all guilty to some extent of seeing only what we wish to see and and trying to shoe horn a paucity of facts into the form that best suits our own preconceived notions. These are common human failings , but the anti Trump left has made that an art form. All you have to do is look look at the way the alphabet soup media has played the ghastly tragedy in New Zealand to see just how far off the beam they've gotten. The murdering swine who calls himself an eco fascist and politically identifies with communist china and hopes to spark a race and religious war that will destroy the west is suddenly morphed into a right wing Christian zealot in spite of claiming he is neither.

If you really believe that Trump has become more competent speaker each year than I think you have a problem. His tweets are disgusting and divisive and only appeal to the base that he adores because he knows they will defend him no matter what. When I listen to him talk to them like they are morons, I cringe with embarrassment

I guess he could have delivered a two hour message saying he would provide whatever support they needed, provide a shoulder to cry on and denounce the terrorists. Like I said, when I heard what he said, I never thought anymore about it. It sounded fine.
I am OK because he did not denounce the terrorists.

I am not sure what you mean by "announce the terrorists".

In short your puerile insult misses the mark by so damn far it didn't even land on the same continent. However it is exactly the sort of mindless drivel I've come to expect when leftists have no worthwhile argument to make.

You brought up Adelai Stephenson. Something out of last mid century.
What argument was there? You were whining. I merely asked the source of your whining.
