I would imagine that the refugees wouldnt get within 100 yards of the military, let alone close enough to throw stones. I envisage a loud speaker may well be used also.

You can tell the truth as you see the truth. Fine. But USA was caught unawares in Pearl Harbour and never forgot it.
Sometimes controlling parts of the world is a strategy to prevent such occurances. Containment can be preferable to defense.

They aren't on American soil, that's why the Army will be on the border. The illegals are armed, they have rocks, and committing the first act of violence.

What are you going on about now! There are restrictions in place. Over 100,000 people cross the border daily using the legal check points, a tiny caravan is not going to make much difference to the workload of the existing BP.

 

IF, that ever happens, we will see it. But it never has, so nice fictional story. Maybe the caravan will be armed with the guns ran down south by Eric Holder and Obama?
