    It was a tragic loss, no doubt. But I'm saddened, as well, that his murder has become a narrative for the Republican fight. What about all the American lives lost at the hands of Americans? Where is the outrage?

    Pretty weak to make an argument that suggests there is no outrage. There is serious outrage, so why make such an empty argument?

    You claim it's tragic the Officers life was taken, but pivot to a strawman.

    An illegal alien, arrested multiple times and protected by California's disgusting policies. Seems to be a worthy fight the left doesn't care about.

    100% of crimes committed by illegal aliens are preventable. That is the point. Yes Americans commit crimes. That is why we have laws and prisons. Why should we add to the problem from other countries?

    Terrorism is only part of it. People dying on the way to the border is a crisis. Women being raped during the journey is a crisis. Do you consider those things a crisis?

    Securing the border would solve that.

    How is this so called wall going to stop women on the way to the border from being raped? How is it going to stop folks from dying heading to the border? How many folks who have crossed the southern border have committed a terrorist attack?

    Gun violence committed by the mentally ill was also made preventable...until Trump revoked the bill that enforced background checks for those people receiving SS for mental illness related issues.

    So NOW you are concerned about the people travelling in caravans toward the border? Why should that be considered an American crisis? And how is a wall going to stop the caravans?

    You saw how well the wall stopped that caravan in it's tracks. That same caravan pulled Mexico's southern border wall down in places. Didn't hardly slow them down. Our wall is worth investing in.

    No wonder you do not get that getting rid of the incentive to travel a dangerous journey will stop the crisis.

    Actually, convicting the employers gets rid of the incentive. Afterall, employment is the incentive.

    Yes, people dying and women being raped is a serious concern - but I didn't read about YOUR concerns regarding that issue when the caravan was on its way. Please don't be disingenuous, not that it suits your agenda.
