As people modifying their street cars is all but illegal and speeding or street racing can be treated worse than if you are caught doing a burglary, the interest in racing also drops. This is combined with just how corporate NASCAR has become and how expensive attendance is. Hot rodders are aging, meaning dying off, and even if still alive not up to sitting for hours in the sun.

Most corporate sports are going to decline in terms of attendance. Increasingly numbers of people live nearly their entire private lives on the Internet now. Why go anywhere when you can just go online?

Well yeah. Likely MOST LA Latinos see "football" as "soccer," not NFL ball. Have a soccer game between the USA and Mexico in LA and see how many people come.

The National Anthem is 100% about the American military. Read the words.

    Hey, here's an idea!

To RESPECT the protesters, from now when making an arrest of someone black the police should shout out "get on your knees!" That way the person both poises little danger to the police plus is given the freedom of speech to protest his/her arrest by kneeling at the same time.

Win - win, wouldn't you say?

    Oh say can you see,
    By the dawn's early light,
    What so proudly we hailed,
    At the twilight's last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright stars,
    Through the perilous fight,
    O'er the ramparts we watched,
    Were so gallantly streaming.

    And thy rocket's red glare,
    Thy bombs bursting in air,
    Gave proof through thee night,
That our flag was still there.

Oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave,
O'er the land of the free, and the home of the brave.

Sorry but no mention of the heroic military here. Just the endurance of the concept of America and the triumph over those that would oppress America's ideals.

Would you have as much trouble understanding if a judge accused you of disrespecting his or her courtroom for kneeling upon hearing the words: "All rise..." ?

I'm feeling like that judge in this debate. You expect me to believe that you don't know how this is disrespectful?

Yeah sure, I should respect people who know well that their protest highly offends many who have not offended them, but do it anyway because they think their cause (however ambiguous) is more important, and they can because their athletic ability calls the attention of major network cameras. The mother who just recieved her son in a coffin with that flag draped over it cannot garner the same network attention in order to make her own response, so thank you President Trump for taking up her cause.

Well, since your other argument fell flat on it's face, deflect to something else.

Yeah, this is more important to Trump, than getting aid to Puerto Rico.

Yes, or the teams could remain in the locker room until after the anthem has been played. Not too long ago, players did not
come onto the field until the playing of the anthem had been completed. That would depoliticize the process.

lol..love the uneducated part. Says the guy who cant even handle what most Americans learned in 1st grade. You are literally asking why disrespectong the flag is disrespectful. You clearly arent American so you can just sit back and watch us deal with it from your hole. Yeah our imaginary concept has made us the strongest nation on the planet that people risk their lives trying to get here to live the American dream. What has your concept done except take a backseat to ours?

dude, try google instead or attend an American 1st grade class..... your super duper high education is failing you right now. Its painful to watch such ignorance on display.
Its not that our liberal friends are wrong, its that they know so much about that which isnt so.
    lol spot on.

Coming from someone who obviously doesn't understand the written word I will take that advice for what it is worth. And just for your education ( probably a futile task) the defenders of Fort McHenry were a mix of soldiers, civilians, and sailors. Claiming the national anthem is a tribute to the military is just plain ignorant.

Well some of us have continued learning past first grade. No, what I have asked is why you think kneeling when the national anthem is played at a sporting event is disrespecting the flag. So far you have been unable to answer. Instead of course you try to duck by claiming i am asking why disrespecting the flag is disrespecting the flag. I know the difference in the question probably is a bit to subtle for your first grade education so perhaps you could find a second grader to explain the difference to you.

The NFL ratings drop is not a mystery. The NFL, like the corrupt bipartisan political establishment that created it has become repulsive to ordinary Americans.

“The NFL ratings are in focus because of President Donald Trump’s suggestion that viewers are turned off by a protest against police brutality that began with quarterback Colin Kaepernick refusing to stand for the national anthem. The protests spread rapidly this past weekend following the president’s criticism of people involved.”
ASSOCIATED PRESS, Nielsen: Football ratings off 11 percent this year, By DAVID BAUDER, 9/27/2017.

There are lots of black veterans who believe in "liberty and justice for all".

I have often wondered how it is that Hitler came to power.

The USA team would need to get their passports stamped to enter the stadium.

Since you claim to why it is disrespectful perhaps you could actually explain. So far nobody has been able to do so. Standing is respectful, kneeling is not. Makes no sense. Perhaps you can actually provide a detailed specific rational for the difference.
