I will keep pointing out that you are consistently incapable of justifying your statements. First you fail to actually understand hate speech. Then you can't explain why kneeling is disrespecting soldiers and then you finally couldn't explain why kneeling is disrespecting the national anthem. So far your batting average is zero.

Its obvious that Trump has emboldened the boors and bullies. The police arrest black criminals just as they arrest white, Hispanic and Asian criminals. There is cause to protest shooting unarmed criminals.

Since the Chargers left SD and came to LA (closer to me actually which is funny) I have absolutely stopped caring about football.

The recent political BS that is being inserted makes me not want to watch any games at all, let alone pick another team. I simply just do not care enough about football to let these absolute morons "teach me" things bout schoolan!

Why are we listening to these athletes? I have met quite a few of them and am close friends with an offensive lineman who is a Pro Bowler as well as two starting NBA players'. They are super fun guys, but will admit themselves that they are absolute morons intelligence wise.

It is sad that so many people look up to people like LeBron for anything other than his supreme basketball skills, which are undeniable (I am on 'Team Kobe' so I hate saying that!!!!)

But yeah, athletes opening their mouth does nothing but make them look like idiots 99% of the time and that is why I am so frustrated that political BS has found it's way so heavily into football and ESPN in general.

I personally care a lot less, not about the politics, but just that it is being inserted in the conversation.

I am only in one fantasy league this year and have noticeably seen a drop in my "give a shyte level". I will be curious to see if the NFL ratings continue to drop, I personally think they will as the majority of people I speak with are EXTREMELY against the kneeling and "ant-american flag" stuff going on.

People keep saying that it has nothing to do with the flag and it is about racism, but if that were the case they should do it in a different way. The way they are doing it looks extremely disrespectful to the United States flag and all the military people (and other 'normal people') have lost all respect for those idiots protesting the flag/anthem

Not that it matters as I am a single person, but football has pretty much lost me. I am curious to see how many others agree as we get to see the ratings numbers continue to fall.

But these NFL players knew they were being disrespectful, otherwise their protests would garner no attention. Attention was and is their goal, and my point is they are despicable for their willingness to pursue that attention at the cost of offending others who have nothing to do with their cause. I didn't say they were and neither did Trump. But they share part of their mindset: calling attention to one's cause regardless of the cost to those not connected or responsible for one's grievances by use of mass media.
