    No. It's a complete mess! Did you know that American Dairy Farmers, in 2016, dumped 43 million of gallons of milk out on the fields?

    We should emulate Canada's excellent trade protection system, in my opinion.

    I think they produce a better quality product, closer to organic.
    Dairy Farmers enjoy a solid middle class income and lifestyle.
    Milk costs more, but, it's not wasted and the government pays nothing in subsidies.

    In our country Congress deliberately log rolls Food Stamp spending with agricultural supports and two together enjoy broad bipartisan support, so our ridiculous system, put together in depths of the Great Depression of the 1930's gets rolled through everytime it renews, no matter who holds congress and the presidency.

    Yeah, you kinda left that out entirely. Another thing you kinda left out. China imports beans to crush and then feed to their massive livestock herds, but an ongoing African swine fever epidemic in China has dampened their demand for feed.

    You sure leave a lot of stuff out!
