Of course it was that simple.

Tell me how they could complicate it.

Bush says "do they have wmd's"

Its a yes or no question.

They didn't say, "we will get back to you".

    So did George S. Patton.

Why Trusting Your 'Gut Feeling' Is Often the Best Strategy

There is no such thing as a purely rational decision. The brain uses a combination of logic and emotion when making decisions of any kind.

Do you think that Trump is right and our intelligence community is wrong? North Korea has started to denuclearize, ISIS is defeated and doesn't have thousands of guerilla terrorists, Syria is not in the hands of the Russians, that Russia did not and is not meddling in our elections? These operations are what our intelligence community is testifying to Congress about. We know that Trump takes no advice because "I know more than the generals" and that he acts on his 'gut' according to him. So do we go with Trump's 'gut' or with our intelligence community?

Of course it was that simple? It is never that simple. And it wasn't that simple if Cheney was able to turn it around to his advantage.

Why is it that the intelligence community has done a complete 180 degrees turn in just two and a half years ?

They say that neocons (Neoconservatives) use to be the liberal base of the Democratic party during the 1960's and 70's and even today the RINO "Never Trump" neocons are the liberals of the GOP.

Talking with people like you is very refreshing because it reminds me of how intelligent I actually am.

    And I'm just normal.

You are comparing one of our great generals to Trump? Patton's gut feeling came from massive experience in foreign matters.
The only experience that Trump has is in the con. When we discuss the art of the con, I'll go with Trump,s gut over General George S. Patton. In war, gimme Patton.

More like moderates than liberals. We simply do not have the same ideals as the party of Trump and we are Republicans.

Patton and Trump are like two peas in a pod. Filthy rich, narcissist, outspoken, reacted on gut feelings and are both American nationalist.

    Patton believed in reincarnation.

Trump isn't questioning whether or not the US intelligence service are reliable.
Trump barely knows how to fold an umbrella, nor does he understand international politics or the power-play of countries like North Korea, Iran and Russia.

When Trump attacks US intelligence it only highlights that he perceives that intelligence as his enemy when it comes to the facts of their knowledge.
Trump only wants the world to hear his lies, for his own reasons. Reasons of insanity, mostly.

Which has led to bizarre tweets like below in which Trump, suddenly and without any evidence provided, declared North-Korea nuke safe.

All by his own invention Trump has given North Korea a seal of great potential.

    upload_2019-1-30_20-8-26.png

A great potential, that is, for Kim Jong-un torturing his own people, but this Trump simply ignores.
For in Trumptopia the truth has long since become extinct.

Meanwhile, in reality, the dictators of the world like Kim Jong-un, Hassan Rouhani and Vladimir Putin, are being watched by the intelligence services of the world to learn about their evil schemes.
As we all agree they are most certainly planning.

    But don't tell Trump.

So in actual terms nothing the president has done has affected our national security or threatened the lives of American citizens.

You just don't like his tweets?

    Grow the **** up already.

You are referring to neoconservatives ?

Being war mongers isn't being a moderate.

I don't hate or despise neocons, without neocons Reagan could have never won the Cold War. It's why Reagan surrounded himself with neocons in his administration.

So did President Bush (43) like Dick Cheney and Paul Wolfowitz both are neocons.

    The Wolfowitz Doctrine,
a document authored by Zionist neo-con Paul Wolfowitz, is the key to understanding the United States’ geopolitical policy and behavior. The Wolfowitz Doctrine is the unofficial name given to the early version of the Defense Strategy for the 1990s: The Regional Defense Strategy report for the 1994–99 fiscal years. It was later released by then Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney in 1993. It brazenly advocates that America do everything in its power to retain its global hegemony and superpower status, including ensuring that Russia, China, Iran and other regional powers – but especially Russia – be prevented from attaining enough power to seriously challenge the US. In short, it’s another US blueprint for total global supremacy.

There are many quotable passages from the Wolfowitz Doctrine. Here’s one which sums up its aims:...continue -> http://freedom-articles.toolsforfreedom.com/wolfowitz-doctrine-us-plan-global-supremacy/

One was experienced in foreign matters and could make decisions based on his experience. Trump is a braggart with 0 experience
and makes decisions based on his 'gut'. He is a danger to the security of our country, but "I know more than the generals".
Trump is not in the same pod as Patton. Patton was a military genius and Trump is a con-man. That's the difference.

Trump has dealt with more foreigners during his career as a developer than Crooked Hillary ever did or even Barack Obama.

Trump goes back to the Reagan administration and there's a video of interviews of Donald Trump starting back in 1986 and what Trump has said over the past 32 years hasn't changed than what Trump is saying today.

This isn't the video I was referring to but it good enough.

    FYI:
In 1988 there were those in the RNC and GOP who were pushing VP G.H. Bush (41) to run Donald Trump as his Vice President but Bush went with Dan Quayle.

I think of myself as a Reagan Republican or a Bill Bradley Democrat and admired both men. Where are they now, when we need them the most. They were intelligent and honorable and put our country before their own ego.
