Okay, I am watching this monologue. I am 14 minutes into it. How did you guys tolerate for this for another 15? Its a stream of conscious talk-a-thon by someone hooked on amphetamines. Those poor people sitting on that couch looking for an opportunity to shut him up long enough to get a question out and then a commercial. I am actually sympathizing with Fox News personalities. Do I have to go back? I will go clean my toilet bowl first...
No. Attorney General Janet Reno appointed Robert B. Fiske as Special Prosecutor to look into the Whitewater investment controversy in January 1994. Fiske concluded no wrongdoing by the Clinton's in a report in June of the same year. That wasn't good enough so the GOP had Reagan-seated judge appoint Ken Starr Special Counsel the same day that Fiske resigned. Both of the Clinton's were subpoenaed to testify before a grand jury. Ken Starr couldn't find sufficient evidence of wrongdoing by the Clinton's concerning the Whitewater controversy, so he dug deeper and dragged the investigation along for over 4 years concluding with impeachment charges against Bill for non-Whitewater related activities involving the Monika Lewinsky affair. So buckle-down, it's going to be a LONG bumpy road for the entirety of Trump's single presidential term. That won't stop the right-wing snowflakes from melting on a daily basis though. Can't stand the heat? DON'T START A ****ING FIRE!!!
what did you think about the Starr investigation at the time? I think most liberals at the time - including donald trump - were against it They said it prevented the president from dpimg the nations business
