Okay. I am familiar with Jordan Peterson. I have listened to many of his talks. He, like folks such as Ben Shapiro, delivers a messages with seeming authority, but also rehearsed with a seemingly internal drop down menu of canned responses. .

That being said, he is also something of a pop-ish figure that is great at affirming people's thought by restating them using an advanced vocabulary, making folks feel smart for having those thoughts.

I am not sure why I should hold his opinions in any higher esteem than I hold my own.

The literature and accepted practices do no support your position - at all.

The "trans movement" is in no way supported by the well understood conditions that underlie dysphoria. That being true, those pushing transition as a solution to the exclusion of accepted and necessary therapy is malpractice.

In short, great and often irreversible harm is being done to these kids.

Now post-op gender reassignment surgery suicide rates in singular Scandanavian countries might be common knowledge in some circles, but I have yet to see nay evidence suggesting your claim is indeed real.

 

Because you ignore the studies that contradict what you sooooo desperately need to believe.

 

I think 16 with a 5 year buffer includes that, no parent should "force" their child there either.... at any age

 

because when someone gets cancer, they may need cosmetic surgery, remember, I mention needed cosmetic surgery for things like cancer - would you deny them that?
