Trump WANTS to be impeached.

I have seen many times, people sabotage the role they are playing. And I can often only assume, they self sabotaged, to end the uncomfortable role they had assumed.

Trump by ALL descriptions did not intend to win the election, which is even hinted at by his using it, to get a new tower in Moscow with a Putin suite. SWEET.

We heard about the scowl on Melania's stern face.

It is JUST as likely, that Trump wants this to end, SUBLIMINALLY, as that he is covering for WORSER crimes, and wants to skate, on simple belligerence. Hold the high crimes and misdemeanors.

His actions, and goading, in addition to all the right wing twits, taunting Dems into formally announcing the impeachment, point to either his desire to escape or a real personality disorder.

I don't think Trump is suited, nor comfortable, in this role. Do you?

If he really wanted us to flourish, he would simply resign, with a deal to not prosecute him or his rotten bastards. But I don't think he has the grace of Palin.

If we let him escape justice, he may not want a second term. IT was likely to run out the statute of limitations. I would let him go, if he quit NOW, instead of the pain of chasing his sorry carcass out.

It's true...Trump would love for the desperate Dems to continue to overreach. Nancy has no control of the radicals that have taken over the DNC, and it's showing.

Nancy has not instituted impeachment and the court victories from this past week forcing Trump's banks to turn over their financial information on Trump is proof that her investigation before impeachment plan is working.

While he's showing his qualifications for impeachment he's also showing evidence that the 25th amendment is applicable.

The Mueller Report proved that Trump obstructed justice no fewer than 10 different times. While simultaneously convicting 33 individuals, 3 companies, several trump associates, and turning a profit from the seizures of Manafort's assets alone.

So yea...not a backfire.

But if you think that Trump's financial documents and tax returns are going to show that he is clean and clear of any ethical or criminal violation, then I strongly urge you to tell Trump to drop his lawsuits and efforts to obstruct the investigations so that he can get back to working with Congress on legislation that America wants and needs.

 

Hello! Are you not witness to Trump's narcissism and ego? Trump is quite confident he'll win re-election, most everyone is. Impeachment now means (D)'s can't drag this circus into his 2nd term. Trump can't guarantee (D)'s will lose the House, but he can guarantee they won't harass him or his administration in his 2nd term.

 

Talk me through your logic here. How does launching impeachment now guarantee that Democrats will not harass him or his administration in the 2nd term?

Trying to decipher Trump's motivations are like trying to reassemble a Rubrics Cube doing 90 mph. In order to do that with any certitude, one would have to place Trump's actions against a rational frame of reference. This I cannot do because I believe Trump is quite mad.

1) nope....nope it didn't. The conclusion was clear, he couldn't determine a crime was actually committed.

Actually I do not think that at all. Had he cheated on his taxes, I have no doubt the good hard working people at the IRS, NY Dept of Taxation and the numerous other states and localities he files would have caught it

 

I am not so sure about that. Trump talks up a good game but his actions speak louder. At the end of the day Trump marches to the same Establishment tune as the Red and Blue Establishment Elite.

The thing to keep in mind is that big money interests that control and influence the Establishment are not some monolith. There are numerous factions and they often conflict and disagree. It is not like it is some "star chamber" or "Cabal".

In general the Establishment does not care about the hot button issues - Abortion, Gay Marriage, Guns, Stormy Daniels and so on. While these server a useful purpose in keeping the electorate divided, amused and diverted from the real issues - what the establishment really cares about is money, control, power and maintaining the status quo.

Trump has done little to address the systemic issues which plague the USA. I can list a bunch if you like but - for the moment - if you want to understand what the Establishment is really up to - you should be looking at the things on which the various interests agree. There you will find the things that need to be fixed.
