No, The Left thought the choice of Palin was a good idea and threatened Obama's win.

...but then Palin opened her mouth, and it was all over.

Interesting. Is trump a di%&? Sure. Is he a coward? No way. He's standing by every word he says and isn't trying to appease anyone.

Political cowards are those that appease the public, and don't speak their mind. At least the public sees the real Trump. He's not afraid to speak his mind.

Trump has a right to attack anything he wants. When McCain started this, I am sure he knew what was coming.

Why do you hate free speech?

Trump has the right to be a hypocritical coward POS.

and I have the right to call him such, and laugh at his failure to be President.

Of course, so why are you questioning his rights in one post then claiming he has them in the next?
    That seems ridiculous.

The only things funny are that you think he actually expects to win...
and that Trump has the ability to offend you.

One of Hillary's key issues is womens' rights. I wonder if you'll be singing the same tune after she gives a speech on this issue.

Trump is a loudmouth with no filter. This somehow makes him a hero. The US has been polarized by aggressive, inflammatory speech from politicians and Trump could end up being the most divisive person in politics.

Nobody is really surprised at Trump's latest gaffe. What surprises me is that the Right accepts him so much. They like tough talkers even if the tough talker is a proven coward who is too scared to fight for his country. Even if the biggest decision he's had to make is if he wears a blue tie or a red one.

At least liberals were honest about their draft dodging. Trump is at least smart enough to not talk about that -- the one thing he hasn't talked (screamed) about.

Then there's his intelligence. Sure, he allegedly turned daddy's $300 million into $3 billion (if he's not just a figurehead). That's impressive, but Trump just sounds like an idiot. He also seems very out of touch, especially when he talks about how he likes "the blacks".

Palin was the only reason McCain came close.

I never saw any pundit or other politician including McCain make this prediction so accurately:

You wouldn't vote for Trump, anyway, so I'm sure everyone, including you and me, will recover from your state of offendedness.

If McCain is going to attack him and insult his supporters, calling them "crazies", then he should be able to take what he dishes out, POW or otherwise. Someone who was tortured should be able to take some of the mud he throws. Btw, McCain called Trump supporters 'crazies', and among those supporters are veterans and POWs, so he insulted those veterans too.

I find it hilarious that nobody on your side complained when various Democratic websites and groups were ridiculing McCain and his service during his 2008 campaign against Obama.

This feigned outrage of Trump's insult is nothing but politics and desperation to destroy Trump because he poses a real threat to them and is speaking for the silent majority against those in BOTH parties who have ignored the will of the people.

Trump is turning your party's nominating process into a childish food fight, and all you have to offer is to suggest that the last handfoll of peas and potatoes was a justified contribution??

This isn't a casting call for a remake of The Three Stooges.

I am sure Trump cares about as much as the rest of us how offended the OP is over some politician's remarks.

Men and women have equal rights under the constitution. What rights are you claiming women don't have that men do? Why are you all of the sudden so offended for John McCain? I'm a vet and I don't give a crap about what he said. In fact, I don't even like trump. I just like that he's honest and doesn't get butt-hurt by public opinion.

Would I vote for the guy? F-no. But he's not a coward as you claim.

Only because the GOP field except for one or two, is lame and actually nothing more than Democrat 2.0.

Does anyone really believe Jeb Bush is going to secure the border? I sure as hell don't, and he's the supposed frontrunner.

Most of them don't differ much from Hillary anyway aside from gender.

And to prove it, just wait and see how many Republicans vote to pass Obama's Iran deal.

McCain led the bipartisan bill that included billions for the border as well as having two other ways of slowing people coming here without permission - since border fencing, drones, etc. along Mexico is not even slightly a good enough solution.

That was a real contribution, showing an understanding of the problem. Too bad Boehner would not allow it to come to a vote.

Now, we have the GOP thinking insults from an idiot is worthy of being president of the USA.

Since then we've had the GOP attack our health plan with NO solution. And, now they want to politicize our approach to Iran -again with no solution.

Doesn't the GOP just make you crazy? Just once, the party should cooperate or propose a solution to some problem - or at least get out of the way

I have posted before that I think we have a one-party system masquerading as a two-party system to keep the nation divided. I wouldn't be surprised if bills are introduced for 'appearances' knowing full well they won't be passed anyway.

At least Trump is bringing to the forefront how lame the GOP is and that we really don't have a party seriously opposing Obama.

...and that McCain isn't a hero because he was captured.

The most "pedestrian" military record is far more impressive that the record of a draft dodger like Trump. The fact that he's a veteran, rather than a draft dodger like Trump, illustrates that he (unlike Trump) has actually served something greater than himself and put his life at risk for the country.

Not sure how you justify holding McCain accountable for some other idiot shooting his plane while it was grounded.

Actually go listen to the clip again the first thing he said was that he was a hero only because he was captured. Trump was 4f because of medical conditions. The most common such condition by far is flat feet, which has been keeping people out of the army since the Civil War. Learn to read I wasn't holding him accountable for that just saying that his luck seems to have sucked. McCain insulted Trumpcand the people at his a rally. All Trump did in essence was let that two people can play that game and Trump would give as good as he got. Now trying to expand this beyond McCain vs Trump is simply bogus.
