    Come’on man - 3 months of data ?? The R’s will run primarily on the economy. Tax cuts 2.0 is a continuation of the R economic growth plan. Look for an inflation adjusted cap gains tax rate.

    Didn't you just post that the tax cut took effect 6 months ago? Did the Rs tell us that it would take a long time for the tax cut stimulus effect to take place, or did they do it in a hurry, using reconciliation, so a little extra money in people's pockets would get them to vote R in the midterms? Maybe that was just the story they told the rubes, and the tax cut really was a quid pro quo for their donors.

    Just how long are we to wait on corporations buying back their own stock, and not giving employees a raise, to declare the tax cut didn't do what the Rs said it would do? It's not like economists didn't warn everyone that this tax cut wouldn't do what the Rs said it would do. They did warn us. Now, 6 months in, we see wages dropping, not rising.

    I hope incumbent Rs do run on the tax cut. I hope they also run on tariffs and gutting the ACA, right about the time inflation and higher health insurance costs offset anything the voters got in a tax cut.

    There is only one quarter of data. Look at the history of the Reagan tax reforms. The R’s will also run on free trade.

    Free Trade? lol I'd suggest you talk to a soybean or pig farmer that just lost their biggest market.

    Try selling voters on waiting longer for the tax cut to help them because of the Reagan tax reform history, while inflation kicks in and health costs go up, with no extra money in their checks. It may work.
