Trump is applying the "scorched-earth policy" (=burn everything and leave nothing to the enemy). Democracy is already half way out the window.

It seems democracy is not dead yet, since the Georgia run-off elections are underway as we speak.

Trump doesn't have the money to run in 2024.

The best service America could do for itself is to remove all references to the name Donald J. Trump from everything, like he never ever existed.

New York City said it will cut business ties with the Trump Organization, joining a growing list of corporations turning their back on the twice-impeached president.

    https://www.bbc.com/news/business-55642717

His future plans seem to be determined by these types of external forces now. He is a pariah now.

His kids are in no danger of running out of money, but, their brand is forever poo-stained. Thanks, dad!

(And Biden is the one who is senile? LOL)

Forget about Trump running in 2024 because it's not going to happen.

Exactly. It astounds to watch the Trumpkins PROJECT the flaws of their hero onto Biden. It is almost like their brains have been wired in a bizarre way crating a false reality. They bought into the continuous BIG lie from rump..........and now seem to have a problem sorting facts from fiction.

I would think he'd be looking for real estate in a foreign country without an extradition treaty with the U.S.

Trump would be better off somewhere else. Maybe we could send him to Mars or something and he won't bother us again.8):happycry:

Yeah...we have a responsibility to the rest of the universe. How about some indictments, trials, and a long, long stay at the federal maximum security prison in Colorado.

Biden will be a 2 term President; bank on it. And if health issues get in the way, Harris will get elected.

A lot can happen in 4 years
If the election had been held Nov 19 - Trump wins.
    Things can quickly change

He plans to live at a place called Mar-A-Lago if you can believe that and there are those that live there that don't want him as a neighbor. Can you imagine why?

Attorney Roberta Kaplan has three lawsuits pending against Trump. It's a sign of what awaits him when his presidency is over.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/life...0.36wRtHqys7Zd2lbc5t4lC2edplqWcdc2pVHnUAZf9xk

He is not only leaving a host of challenges for the next administration........he is facing a lot of his own now. too

Sad that he and Melania could not pull it out of themselves to at least welcome Biden and his wife to the whit-house as traditionally has been done. No couth. but he is organizing his own fancy send off. . He will miss the pop , and benefits of the office so much.......but he will create his own story of his presidency. (and it will be a fantasy peppered with glamorous moments which he so treasures. His keepsakes will b every photo op he ever participated in.

CNN reporting :He is currently making an "enemies" list........... so one can expect him to extract revenge for some time to come. ( or at least try) No perceived insult goes unpunished in his world.

Rules Former US Presidents Have To Follow After They Leave Office

Interesting. Wonder how the proverbial rule breaker is going to like this.

The bBiden team is considering not allowing him to get any intelligence that most former presidents get. For obvious reasons.

Indeed. Best political cartoon ever on this was published here by another poster; I'm reproducing it:

About the topic of this thread, a bid for 2024, after 1/6/2021 I think that any future possibility of a successful run for Trump is truly over. Sure, his base will continue to believe... but his base is not sufficient to win elections. He needs at least some moderates and independents... and these have sharply turned against him on 1/6/2021. Any opponent running against Trump would just need an ad that would recover some of the images of the Capitol invasion with a voice-over saying "are you sure you want to go back to THAT???"

Of all the possible things that he could be "remembered" for....what do you think will be the top three??
