Trump's "Inject Disinfectant" Remark is NOT Going Away

Trump slunk out of his briefing today (with his tail between his legs) because he didn't want to answer questions about his egregiously absurd statement about "injecting disinfectant".

Before today, Trump has (routinely) entertained questions for over an hour.

Tomorrow, or the next day, Etc.--Trump WILL have to answers questions about this.

Nobody (especially the people in the press room) is going to forget about this.

If Trump thinks that he is going to be able to ignore answering for this, he is extremely mistaken.

This is the sort of thing that could stew all weekend (and be front and center on the Morning shows).

Another thing that was incredible about today's briefing:

Birx and Fauci (usually fixtures at these briefings) were both conspicuously absent (so they wouldn't be ambushed by the press to discredit Trump's statement).

Trump Must Realize that he can't avoid facing up to questions about this?

He can't possibly be so delusional that he thinks this will "go away"? Can he?

 

Trump haters with serious daddy issues won't let it go away.

They'll claim he said "their were very fine flus on both sides" & then gave a Nazi salute.

While injecting himself with bleach & chicken fat.

But Trump haters gotta Trump hate - what can you do?

 

Only an idiot scraping the very bottom of the barrel would try to make a thing of this, so I expect to see it all over the media and many threads here from the LW brain trust.

Ironically, it -will- backfire. Lots of centrists are completely fed up with out of context media "gotchas" instead of straightforward, adult reporting and this one is no different.

The average emotional and intellectual age may be 12 for LW, but not for other voting adults.

 

Think of it as instant karma for 8 years of "Obama is a Muslim Terrorist" threads started by the Right Wingers on these boards ...

I don't think that holding someone's feet to the fire for using the Pulpit of the Presidency to advocate Injecting Disinfectant is indicative of "Daddy Issues".

Unless one attributes the D-Day Invasion to "Daddy Issues".

I find Trump's actions to be utterly indefensible.

But I am also aware that there is a Hard-Core of about 1/3 of America who will follow him regardless.

The fact that those people are exponentially over-represented online changes nothing in terms of the Overall Equation.

Trump must be defeated by any (legal) means necessary.

As always, even in the face of being outnumbered (at least 4 to 1) by PF's RW Pro-Trump Echo Chamber (facing constant incoming, with a 24/7 target on my back) I will continue to soldier on and fight the good fight.

It WAS about daddy issues (among other things), and TOTW is a cinematic masterpiece, not unlike Birth of a Nation, though both obviously on the wrong side of history and morality.

Trump?

He's just another awful president, though the best of the century so far, hideous as that is to say.

Less of an overt war criminal than Obama, though like Clinton, pushing monstrous sanctions which are crimes against humanity of a different kind.

History will judge Trump far more kindly than the current hysteria would suggest, and the American Empire far more harshly.

I would prefer that we see more eye to eye on both Trump and Biden, but trust that if by some miracle Tulsi or Bernie or Andy were the nominee, we'd both be pretty happy & on the same page in supporting them.

 

Not to mention umbrellagate the fiend. FOX really had their work cut out for them to come up with scandals during Obama. Trump makes it hard only in that the press has to choose each day which will make the news and which get lost on the cutting floor.

 

Yet he never advocated injecting disinfectants.

Bowe Bergdahl. Pretty hard to fault him for returning an American soldier, even a piece of work like him.
Yes, Obama rejected more applicants than Trump only because they were rejected on individual basis' whereas Trump just doesn't allow hundreds of millions to even apply. That's really a stretch on your part to compare the two.
