    If trump had sight problems and/or color blindness, or was being humorous, etc. would it be a lie? No. But if he followed the definition of a perjurious lie and he knew black wasn't white, and he said it was to mislead you, and it caused you harm (you know,, like the president telling everyone, "If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor...........") then it would be a lie.

    Perjurious lies have to be made under oath. When one tells a lie under oath, it is a conscious lie.

    Here is an article about a Trump deposition, under oath, where he admitted to lying 30 times.

    I assume you also discount Trump tweeting that Obama tapped his wires as a lie?

    Attempting to compare lies told by Trump to lies told by Obama, or anyone else for that matter, is whataboutism.

    Lying under oath is perjury. I am using the term "perjurious" as perjury-like, meaning a serious lie that passes the criteria for a lie under oath but is not under oath. This voids the populace clamor for LIAR when Trump calls a cloudy day perfect weather, for example.
    All of those 30 (I read a few which is sufficient) statements were exaggerations, boasts, shades of the truth, and the like that do not count as serious lies. Note that under oath he was 100% straight. Like my examples above, including one (The Pew Report) where the only true lie is the assertion that Trump lied.
    Not sure I get your reference, but to repeat, my two Obama examples were bold-faced, unadulterated,100% pure perjurious lies. Haven't heard those since Bill Clinton.

    Didn't read thread, just the laughable OP from a biased OP and biased source. The latest iteration of the "fact-checking" canard is taking statements that aren't actual claims of fact (but rather opinions or POV), political rhetoric and hyperbole, taking claims out of context, or focusing on an irrelevant part of the claim... or any of numerous other possible fallacious ways to inaccurately call something a "lie."

    Doesn't work any more, not fooling anyone. Maybe discredited OP and discredited Nate Silver should go and start a website on "Trump's Lies" for us all to laugh at.

    There are little white lies, bold-faced lies, and statistics.
    There are lies of commission and omission.
    Lies are not truths or shades of truth.
    All lies are serious, as they are a manipulation of what is real.
    Is Trump a liar? Yes. Trump lies when the truth would serve him better.
    That being said, most of are liars. However, most of us aren't the President of the United States.

    You might excuse Trump's lies as being not serious, but every lie that he tells removes integrity. Eventually, we'll need to believe he is telling us the truth over something that is critical, and we won't…. just like the boy that cried wolf.

    Trump never had integrity so he has nothing to lose in that arena. His long history of fraud and swindling never bothered his supporters so anything he currently does will not bother them either.

    What's funny is they are all Clinton worshipers and act like honesty matters to them. There are a million videos of Clinton lies and they write off total passes for.

    Trump told a joke. Americans know that and see people like you making hay over it as a giant joke.

    Bill Clinton is a junk flasher like a San Francisco liberal and settled a sexual assault case for 800k. You still worship the guy and almost put him back in the white house to pray on interns. Don't act like rape/sexual assault/adultery matter to you.

    Maybe I missed something but, who is the Lie Counter?

    The biggest lie Trump told me is his current practice of supporting Neocon military actions.

    I voted for Obama in "08 and he lied to me.
    His inaction during the foreclosure crisis allowing people to be lawyerfied out of their homes by illegal means because they could not "fight" a banks legal team was most disgusting.

    Too bad we only count the lies and not quantify them too.
    Obama's lies to the American people and the effect they had were among the worst I can remember since LBJ adopted AuH2O's Vietnam policies.
    People losing their home and becoming renters is not my :flagus:
    And then if you did lose your home by illegal behavior, Obama limited you to $2,000 recovery.
    I doubt Wall St. Hillary would have protected people but, "we" had every reason to believe Obama would. And he didn't.

    As I will never forgive LBJ, I will never forgive Obama and his lies.
    They talk up making lives of common people better while worsening them.
    Bush Jr. socializing bank & Inc. losses was horrible but, what one would expect. No lie.

    Why should she take you seriously? You worshiped Hillary Clinton. From sniper fire to emails, she lied, got caught, and you gave her a total pass. If people like you held your side to a common moral standard, your party wouldn't be totally infested with Clinton types.

    When people like you call people liars, nobody takes you seriously. You gave up your credibility bailing out Clinton types.

    The best thing about Trump for you is he never lies. If he says something untruthful, it is just an exaggeration or he is telling a joke. Why should anyone go line by line with each lie with you? You will just use one paper thin excuse to cover up his lies. Please point to 150 times that Obama exaggerated or told a joke... I mean lied according to you.
