New report out in the acting AG, wrote an op-ed saying Mueller crossed a red line going into Trump's finances, and depicted it as fishing.

No way there could possibly have been a reason for him to do so, Trump has been totally transparent about his financials. Right?

Not smartest thing in hindsight but I don’t think that warrants recusal.

You people who keep bringing up his taxes. Now it might be true that Trump used tax loop holes to get out of paying a lot of taxes which is not illegal. But if you think Obama didn't have Trump's taxes gone over with a fine tooth comb, your living in dream land. Especially after the IRS had all those Conservative groups who asked for tax exemptions all audited. He was about as open as Obama was when he said his administration would be more transparent than any other and was just the opposite. He wouldn't release his medical records. Just a one page letter from his doctor who said he was able to serve. He wouldn't even let reporters talk to his doctor. Wouldn't release his college records or how he got his college grant.

I think this is going to end up working out just fine anyway. Here's why. Its pretty obvious when trump starts resorting to this kind of open obstruction the day after the midterms that he's deeply, deeply afraid of something. And he probably should be. If Mueller's investigation hadn't turned up anything on trump and his idiot family, Mueller would have released his findings prior the midterms. He was waiting to see if the House flipped AND he also already calculated that trump would pull a stunt like this because he's been openly signalling it for months. I would bet an arm that Mueller's investigation is pretty much buttoned up..and the news reported tonight that he's already backed up all his findings. Right now, everything from the Mueller investigation can be subpoenaed by Congress and Mueller and every single witness he had can be called to testify. And trump is providing all the justification they need. So to put it in a nutshell, there is NOTHING they can do to block this information from getting out to the public. In fact, any investigation Congress has will be held in public, right in front of the American people.

This new sycophant that trump put in to obstruct justice won't be able to stop anything...and it just makes him look completely guilty. In addition, it puts a lot of pressure on new republicans because they're following a con-artist criminal moron infesting the White House right over the cliff if they don't do two things ...1. ask for this new moron trump just appointed to recuse himself and 2. pass legislation to protect Mueller....knowing that the information will get out anyway and they'll be an open investigation. Right now, its really a matter of how much of trump's criminal stench they want to get on them...and believe me, they're doing that calculus.

What trump doesn't get is that while he's been planning his ongoing crimes...he's been extremely transparent and Mueller and the Democrats have been ready for it. Congress belongs overwhelmingly to the Democrats and they're already planning the investigation. Eventually the stink is going to reach so high...the rats will be trampling each other in the rush over the side of the sinking ship.

    Get ready for it...

Maybe your not talking of his taxes after all and talking of finances. Yes, it's fishing to try and find something he can get on him and far from what the investigation was set up to do. Even if they find anything, you have to know with all the businesses he owns, he has professionals doing them and trump sees not much more than where to sign.

The Mueller team has about 18 full time people investigating just about anything they can find Trump has done for a year and a half. I don't think Congress is going to do any better than they did. Just wait who Trump gets to investigate Hillary, the old Attorney General and FBI. I think thats why he asked Sessions to quit. He didn't want to get into it. If he goes down he isn't going alone, a lot of Democrats are going down too.

First...a year and a half in an investigation this size is nothing. Its already resulted in dozens of indictments. To compare, since you love to say Hillary over and over until you pass out, Bengazi took 4 YEARS AND TURNED UP NOTHING...ZERO INDICTMENTS, NOTHING. In fact, every investigation into Hillary has turned up nothing...so have another one...who cares? The people you mentioned aren't in public office and trump the moron as no effective mechanism to do an investigation and it will just make him look even more guilty.

Second...the Mueller investigation has already been incredibly fruitful. Dozens of indictments...multiple guilty pleas, most from criminals extremely close to trump the con-artist...and millions of dollars seized. And you can bet there's a lot more. If there wasn't, Mueller would have already released his findings...he's done. He didn't do it BECAUSE he knew the new republican trump drones in Congress would do nothing and would mask the information. They'd make him reveal findings in private and it would NEVER see the light of day....so he waited and bet on the Congress flipping.

    Well....now it has...

And Mueller and all the Dems also knew that trump would get scared...cause he knows he and his family are criminals. He's been a criminal his whole life. And everyone knew he'd openly do anything he could to stop this investigation from seeing the light of day. And now he has few options...that's why THE VERY DAY AFTER THE MIDTERMS...he pulled another open act of obstruction. Because he is DESPERATE. He rambled on like an absolute nutbag today...he sounded literally crazy. He is freaking out because he's starting to understand the ramifications of what just happened.

One of the most important job of the Congress is oversight. Its what Congress was supposed to do over the past 2 years...and they abdicated their responsibility to the American people. Well that anti-American, traitorous b.s. is over. And you can expect that everything trump has done is going to be brought out in the light of day to the public.

You can make all the excuses you want...you can engage in whataboutism...you can try to deflect...you can try to spin like a top....

It doesn't matter. Indictments are coming...

There was no investigation of Hillary. No spin. Bill Clinton met the Attorney General right here in Phoenix on her private plane and pleaded for her not to charge Hillary for destroying the E-mails she was to turn over, but destroyed. (You do know she destroyed them don't you?) If Trump had been ordered to turn over one and destroyed it instead, you know damn well charges would be brought against him. After the meeting with Bill, she told Commey to only charge her with a matter,(What ever that means) Anyway Commey wrote up a memo absolving her of doing anything criminal, about three weeks before he ever interviewed her, or any of the 12-15 witnesses. Even when he interviewed her, he never swore her in. It's a clear case of obstructing justice. Bill Clinton should be charged too, along with several FBI agents that were involved in that sham.

That isn't defecting. That isn't stopping the Mueler investigation. Although it could well be more people from the FBI and justice dept.could be involved in getting the investigation of Trump on a fake dossier started on false terms. They weren't honest with the judge who oked the investigation.

The Democrats can do their investigation and I think you'll see quite a few Democrats also brought up on charges, which is why I believe Trump fired Sessions. So lets see how it all comes out. What ever the Left does. The Senate will not go along with it.

Not one of those indicted are charged with anything Trump did or ordered them to do. Several were charged for what they did before Trump ran for President or joined Trump's team. The other two were charged for lying to the FBI and that lie had nothing to do with collusion with Russia. They weren't even a big lie.

Lol, your assumptive delusions about Obama invalidate the rest. Why would the Dems be so desperate to get the tax returns if they already knew what they contained. Shouldn't Obama tell us to calm down and focus on something so we don't look like fools, if he wants to Democrats to win? He's doing no such thing, and the Democrats pursue Trump's tax information because he did not disclose it like every other candidate for president in the general.

It was a well written op-Ed. Did CNN also report he used to work for them as a legal analyst?

Sessions served one useful purpose, he kept Trump from grabbing a hot stove. If Trump & Company decide to grab that stove and fire Mueller they will walk away with third degree burns. It will make matters worse, much worse.

The lame argument that Trump has every right to hide his tax returns will come tumbling down like a Trump tower in an earthquake. Following the money will lead straight to Russia and the Saudis. Trump knows it, Mueller knows it, and pretty soon America will know it. The ‘gee, they’re under (perpetual) audit’ defense will rise to a four alarm whine to no avail.

It’s a safe bet that Mueller & company have backed up their findings multiple times and put them in nuke hardened bomb shelters in Antartica. All it will take to turn over this rotted log will be to fire Muller. Then the story will come out and the new House of Representatives will spend their time stomping on bugs in a very public way.

Will Trump and his new sycophantic AG have enough to see the writing on the wall? Don’t bet on it. Now that Sessions is gone the hot stove beckons.

There is no requirement for any presidential candidate, or sitting president to disclose his tax returns. None. I’d tell the media to pound sand as well if I were in his shoes.

    Mind your own business people.

It's his job now as Mueller's boss to have an opinion about the investigation and direct it according to his judgment.

Rosenstein acted according to his professional opinion (never mind his conflicts of interest), the new guy has no conflicts of interest and is fully entitled to act according to his own professional opinions.

Hillary is certainly guilty of mishandling classified documents and should have been endicted for that

The other investigstion involved bengazhi and was never aimed at criminal activity

And its just speculation but who knows what crimes might have been revealed in the 33,000 emails she illegally destroyed?
