Well, the abomination in the White House has brought us down to the level of Nicaragua and Libya, the only other two countries that wouldn't sign the Paris Climate Accord. Way to make America a third world country, fake Herr, Trumpenfuhrer.
Yeah, yeah I know, he said that the Paris Climate Accord was unfair to American labor, but since he lies all the time, why would you begin believing this lie? And that is all it is; another lie for his dim witted followers to blindly grasp on to and parrot on thread after thread.
Now, consider exactly what this incredibly stupid act may precipitate. Suppose, just suppose, that the citizens of even just some of the other countries that do think the Paris Climate Accord a good thing, decided to boycott American products. Now that is a statement that would resound throughout the nation, don't you think? It would sure put a lot of Americans out of work, right quick!
How exactly would that make America great again, Mr. Trumpinliar?

The Paris Accord Sucked, and was Horrible for America

    1. The Paris Agreement was costly and ineffective.

The Paris Agreement is highly costly and would do close to nil to address climate change.

If carried out, the energy regulations agreed to in Paris by the Obama administration would destroy hundreds of thousands of jobs, harm American manufacturing, and destroy $2.5 trillion in gross domestic product by the year 2035.

In withdrawing from the agreement, Trump removed a massive barrier to achieving the 3 percent economic growth rates America is accustomed to.

Simply rolling back the Paris regulations isn’t enough. The Paris Agreement would have extended long beyond the Trump administration, so remaining in the agreement would have kept the U.S. subject to its terms.

Those terms require countries to update their commitments every five years to make them more ambitious, starting in 2020. Staying in the agreement would have prevented the U.S. from backsliding or even maintain the Obama administration’s initial commitment of cutting greenhouse gas emissions by 26 to 28 percent.

The Obama administration made clear in its commitment that these cuts were only incremental, leading up to an eventual 80 percent cut in the future.

In terms of climate benefits produced by Paris, there are practically none.

Even if every country met its commitments—a big “if” considering China has already underreported its carbon dioxide emissions, and there are no repercussions for failing to meet the pledges—the changes in the earth’s temperature would be almost undetectable.

    2. The agreement wasted taxpayer money.

In climate negotiations leading up to the Paris conference, participants called for a Green Climate Fund that would collect $100 billion per year by 2020.

The goal of this fund would be to subsidize green energy and pay for other climate adaptation and mitigation programs in poorer nations—and to get buy-in (literally) from those poorer nations for the final Paris Agreement.

The Obama administration ended up shipping $1 billion in taxpayer dollars to this fund without authorization from Congress.

Some of the top recipients of these government-funded climate programs have in the past been some of the most corrupt, which means corrupt governments collect the funds, not those who actually need it.

No amount of transparency negotiated in the Paris Agreement is going to change this.

Free enterprise, the rule of law, and private property are the key ingredients for prosperity. These are the principles that actually will help people in developing countries prepare for and cope with a changing climate and natural disasters, whether or not they are caused by man-made greenhouse gas emissions.

    3. Withdrawal is a demonstration of leadership.

As opposed to what Obama did by signing it...bringing us up to the level of North Korea and Iran - both of whom signed it?

Of course they're united: they know it will hurt the US economy and not theirs.

Why do people seem to think that other industrialized nations would ever actually comply with the terms of the agreements.

Slam the U.S. all you want but by and large when the U.S. has signed on to an international agreement it has made a good faith effort to abide by them.

But most other countries, yeah including most of the European progressive paradises think of national interests first. They don't hesitate to violate (though often quietly) international agreements they see as costing them in any way.

Was the treaty ratified by the Congress? If not we can pull out at any time we want.

I doubt you could back up any one of your claims in this post with FACTS. If you can't, then you are just another fool parroting what was disseminated by some alt-right organization because you don't know any better.

Best to be a member of the international community, than to be a selfish outsider. This will come back to haunt us, I'm sure of it.

Example. Outer Space Treaty- banned orbital nuclear weapons. Soviet Union developed the Fractional Orbital Bombardment System (FOBS). wiki or google it if you wish.

FOBS completely violated the spirit of the ban on orbital nuclear weapons but not the letter of the ban as technically one cannot say it goes into orbit because it doesn't complete a single full orbit of the Earth before deorbiting and attacking.

By the way, the Outer Space Treaty is still in effect.

And yet another new ICBM in development by the Russians has FOBS capability.

And I don't even know what an "alt-right organization" is. I get most of my news and information from Associated Press.

What in the world has THIS post to do with this thread? Are nuclear weapons (which you can bet the US has aplenty in space) a part of the Paris Climate Accord? If so, I guess I missed that section.
As for Trump's bestie Vlady baby, just wait until your beloved president drops the sanctions against Russia and Putin has his massive oil and gas income back. He'll be building weapons the like of which the world has never seen will easily be able to reach his stated goal of rebuilding the USSR, with him as supreme leader.

Dumb post is a dumb post. Russia's economy depends on oil being over $150 a barrel. Right now, it's trading at $48.36. Just stop already, you people's emotionally laced nonsense is tiring, as it is boring.

Climate change might be real, but the political solutions are only meant to redistribute wealth on a worldwide basis.
