Tucker Carlson wrongly tells his viewers the country's white supremacy problem 'is a hoax'

"White supremacy is the ideology that has killed more Americans than any other terroristic ideology in the history of America," Wesley Lowery said on Sunday's "Reliable Sources."

On Monday John Avlon wrote about the feedback loop of "hate and extremism, cascading copy-cat violence and a pattern of white supremacists citing each other — and the President — in online forums like 8chan, where hate and conspiracy theories proliferate."

Jelani Cobb came out Tuesday with a new column about "how the trail of American white supremacy led to El Paso."

And the Los Angeles Times has an editorial in Wednesday's paper titled, "As the El Paso massacre showed once again, white supremacy is the poison in our well."

I'm mentioning all of this because Tucker Carlson says the country's white supremacy problem "is a hoax. Just like the Russia hoax. It's a conspiracy theory used to divide the country and keep a hold on power."

    ... https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/07/media/tucker-carlson-white-supremacy-reliable-sources/index.html

Tucker Carlson :disbelief: What a moron. Americans are being murdered by ideologically driven mass shooters who target them for being Latino or Jewish, and this buttplug glibly claims it's a conspiracy theory. As with Russia, his idiotic spouting off on Fox News only helps the bad guys.

I'm still waiting to meet my first white supremacist, and I know a lot of of people.

The closest I can think of (based on the left's ridiculous standards of "you disagree with me so you are a white supremacist") is one truly hardcore anti-illegal immigration person, and he's a legal immigrant from s-america. If you want I can give you his number and you can yell at him or whatever if it makes you feel better, but I warn you he can cuss in 4 languages so brush up if you want to understand his response.

You think those cowardly, hateful turds are out boasting of their views in public? They hide out on racist forums and the like because they're anti-social cowards blaming others for their personal problems, only finding comfort and strength when they're online with their fellow turds or when they're shooting innocent people. You can head right over here if you want to virtually meet some: https://engforum.pravda.ru/index.php?/forum/3-main-forum/

    Go ahead.

    Of course it's a hoax.

The only way to get a white supremacist to attack you is to hire a couple nigerians.

Sharpen up your debate skills. The new liberal standard is calling anyone a racist or supremacist because their arguments are way better than yours...

What are the odds that Tucker is being taken out of context here?

Is he saying there's no white supremacy, or is he saying that the progressive reaction and view of it is grossly disproportionate?

So, just wondering again... who were the victims in Las Vegas? How about Sandy Hook? The Pulse nightclub in Orlando? The government offices of San Bernardino?

Were those about white supremacy? no? How about the average weekend in Chicago? Or Baltimore? Or Cleaveland? Why do you suppose that the left is so wedded to this notion? Do you really suppose that a whole raft of old white presidential candidates spewing out white supremacy doesn't objectively undercut your narrative? Just wondering. oh, and laughing. lots of laughing...:roflol:

Actually, the most deadliest terror organization in US history is the democrat party. If they weren't wearing sheets, then they are pushing planned parenthood onto black neighborhoods for the past century.

as I've stated before, I actually like when they do it, because I view it as a recruitment tool away from the Dem's. Normal free thinking people with even a tiny bit of logic looks at the ridiculous name calling and say "Jesus, who's creating division?" "do I want to associate myself with these nutjobs?"

I have no issues with Tucker calling out the truth, and i'm no fan of fox or tucker carlson, I generally pretend that cable news doesn't exist, on the rare occasion I watch cable news I have to thank my xfinity talking remote because I don't even know what their channel number is.

The same people who call people white supremacists, who don't have links to any white supremacist groups, are the ones following supremacists like Farrakhan, CAIR and La Raza.

I too have not met a White Supremacist before. I take that back, I knew this little skinhead ******* in Huntington Beach back in the 1990's, but he got his ass kicked and decided to quit his bullshit. He later married a Latina and became a print shop manager. I see him and his little kids around every once in a while - Half Mexican heritage / Half former skinhead (Cute Kids - Took after Mom).

So yeah... I knew once once.

FBI Director Christopher Wray before the Senate Judiciary Committee on July 23rd: "A majority of the domestic terrorism cases that we've investigated are motivated by some version of what you might call white supremacist violence."

Im a brown person living in New Orleans, there is not a white neighborhood that I am afraid to go into. However, there are a dozen black neighborhoods that I will not go in during night or day. Tucker is correct

    apparently not.

But getting real, I know some bigots, they have bad attitudes about a lot of things and for example are quite critical of white trash as they are of black trash and sometimes they tend to paint large groups, like maybe an entire state (such as Alabama or Afghanistan, take your pick) in a broad brush, which is wrong but nothing that out of the ordinary.

They might have bad 'tudes but they don't act upon them in any way nor are they in a position to and I don't think (correction, I'm quite sure) any of them are capable of going off the deep end such as a mass shooting, or even marching around with a torch, they just get a little mouthy and critical after a few beers and in the privacy of their home.

They work with and for POC, and get along with everyone just fine.

As i've stated before, the biggest Xenophobe (code word for white supremacist) is south american. The biggest racist I know (knew) is a Black Jamacian that dropped the N word with regularity, quite harsh attitude, fortunately my buddy divorced her for that and many other reasons, she actually was the case definition of B****** be crazy.

But hey, call names, label large groups, throw as many under the bus as you like, its an excellent recruiting tool for the GOP and i'm sure if they were here they would thank you for spewing that mentality, its helping them, one vote at a time as people with common sense finally say "enough with this crap i'm not voting for these crazy lefties."

If you want to create more GOP voters, just keep up the nonsense.

You see, that's what makes me skeptical that "white supremacy" is some sort of massive movement. There was a time in this country when it was a big deal. You guys had governors who said "...segregation now, segregation forever." Another governor stood in front of his chicken restaurant on live TV with an axe to keep black people out. Presidents were associated with the Klan.

Now, there isn't a single policy of either of the two major parties dedicated to "white supremacy." There are no platforms, there are no PACs, there are no national magazine, there is literally nothing but the forums you noted; the 21st Century version of the back of the bar.
