    True.

And, I would add, Trump's opposition is now painfully aware that voting 3rd Party is wasted vote.

Not with a field of 20-21 running for the Presidency. Sanders didn't have to compete against such odds.

I have said before that she would be a formidable opponent against any Republican. She is articulate, intelligent, good looking, an Iraq War veteran, and Major in the Hawaii National Guard.

Her chances of actually get the nomination are zero.

In such a crowded field it would be a miracle even if she was still in the race on Super Tuesday.

The field should be whittled down to a small handful by then.

But Sanders will keep running until he dies, so the Sanders supporters will stay with Sanders.

    True.

He didn't factor in the inevitable generational rise in life expectancy (which was 61.7 years when the program was enacted).

If she offer a decent plan for health care and abstain from homosexual agenda she will be elected.

I hope he doesn't, but you could be right. Once you hit the 80th year of life, it is time to retire. I don't see many like him, an old FDR kinda politician, and I surely do not see Warren in that light. Not even sure about Tulsi as I am not that familiar with her positions on a variety of issues.

FDR was a capitalist and is said by some to have saved capitalism from its excesses. I believe that. But it is at risk again as you see with Cortez on the radical left. FDR faced the same thing, for those familiar with that era.

I like the disarray. For there are more and more people demanding change away from what the establishment, two banking/corporate parties have wrought upon america. And the Princeton Study evidenced what much of the problem is with both parties.

Trump won because of this demand for change. But the democrats ignore it. As they ignored those who supported sanders. But this isn't going away, IMO.

Personally I think both parties took us down the tubes, if one is one of the 300 million plus average americans. Trouble is, we still have far too many who have not awoken to this reality. But it will happen, given enough time. Even in spite of MSM propaganda.

Well, can you imagine the radical left embracing her if she maintains that position on homosexuality? And the corporate owned, banking owned DP depends upon these leftists.

You like the disarray?? You may be the first poster I've heard say that.:D

I think the chaos is terribly damaging to the entire political structure but I have heard other posters on another forum say that they supported Trump because he would tear the entire structure apart and drain the swamp. Has he done that? I don't think so. I think he's bred bigger crocodiles and swamp lizards and fed them raw meat.

I think Trump is the symptom of a political structure that is corrupt and no longer able to respond to the needs of the American people. Many of his supporters are right to feel enraged by a system that has left them behind and treats them with contempt.

Unfortunately, that malaise was grabbed onto by a blubbering con-man who knows nothing about running a country and is only perpetuating his own greed and stupidity and America is going to be isolated and weakened for decades by the lack of leadership. In fact the empire may never recover.

Did you mean even is spite of the MSM and Fox news propaganda??

Didn't read thread. Unelectable. So go for it Tulsi! Broaden that field, you and the total, shrill AA case Kamalamalama can fight it out for the dumb, young demographic who won't turn out to vote.

I only like it because you generally see it as a preclude to some change happening. Although I think the disarray will get much worse and will involve things that I do not like before any real change happens. I think we are close to seeing the chaos and suffering seen in the great depression, which will escalate when 40 percent of our workforce is displaced by AI and robotics. And I heard this weekend that when it really gets going, it will happen in such a relative short time period and we are not at all ready for it.

She will beat him easily. She doesn't have anywhere near the baggage that was a noose around Hillary. She served in Iraq, Bush SR was the last president we had that served in a war zone.

Ya, I attended a lecture on AI and automation and it is going to be a real problem as those jobs are eliminated. Think about what happens when all the trucks are self-driving and the transportation industry jobs fail. The speaker was saying this could be a decade or two away.

There is no way we are ready for it and the US is going to be way behind because of Trump's idiot policy of trying to prop up industries that are legacies of a by-gone era instead of innovating for a new economy. The only people doing this in the US are the military who want to create more of a robotic, automated military - which is going to be just great for the wretched of the Earth who are already suffering under war and death.

The lecturer ended up with a brief commentary about universal income as a solution. The problem is going to be so serious that even conservative economists are starting to take the idea seriously.

But there is the problem of the new economy not being able to provide enough jobs for enough people. And just because it the past something has always arose to take in displaced people that does not mean that something will arise again. We needed additional people to man our factories once industry replaced agriculture. Can you imagine what will be large enough to take in those displaced by AI and robotics? At least we knew industry would serve this purpose when that change happened. And yet nothing is even in view of what will replace those jobs lost to AI and automation. So this change is vastly different from previous changes.

We have a low wage service sector economy today. It has threatened the existence of a large middle class and will continue to do that.

It does look like we may have to move to something like a universal income, welfare for more than today. I think we will see an impoverished nation, with a tiny middle class consisting of professionals with most being much poorer than we have known since the great depression.

I am forced into pessimism on this issue, given what I perceive to be reality.

yes they do. However they are required to vote along with thier state on the first ballot. Just because they are not called super delegates they are in all but name.
    Every state gets three.

We will handle it. When I was a young man, airplanes almost ended the Railroads. It is cost effective and fast to fly. I have only taken the train two times. First one was a few hundred miles inside of Ca and the last was from CA to Georgia. The train is not all that attractive since most of the trip was very boring. The action was on the train itself.

I don't like this crap. you get opinions of someone when they are 18-22 years old. This was back in 2002 I don't even think she was old enough to drink yet. She is only 37 now. Your opinions and beliefs change when you mature.
