Turkey is saying "we are not a hotel for ISIS" and is sending foreign Jihadists back to their country of origin - including one to the US.

What a cluster buck this is going to be. Glad there is only one coming here but what do we do with this person ?

Will the proceedings be secret ? They shouldn't be - is this person going to divulge "State Secrets" ?

Wonder if this person defend themselves with "I was fighting on your side - in a US proxy army" - defense

I've never heard of an ISIS or any jihadist that could be reformed. They're pretty much hard-wired to kill you.

This is as it should be. We (in Sweden) have reportedly had many. What to do with them? Well. There are only three choices:
1. Prison
2. Send them back to their country of origin.
3. Send them back to the country in which they actively fought and let those governments deal with them.

But Sweden is a puzzy nation when it comes to being responsible for someone's life and we don't deport people to their death. We also do not believe in long prison sentences - the idea being "to reform" and put back into society. Yep, we're screwed! But we do have a growing number of SD (Sweden Democrats) supporters who want to start sending most of the migrants back from whence they came. The number is growing and the more crime, rape, murder, terrorism that we endure the sooner SD will get adequate power to rid this country of the scum. So that's it: Send them back to us Turkey so they can do their worst and we can get pissed off enough to finally deal with them.

 

The party is already in progress here in Sweden.

The "messiness" I was referring to would not exist in Sweden - as Sweden did not arm and support the Al Qaeda/ISIS proxy army in Syria.

If you put someone on trial - for being the wife of an ISIS fighter (providing comfort to the enemy or some such thing) - in the USA. How do you counter the defense saying

1) Enemy ? ISIS/Al Qaeda was a US ally in the war against Assad - An ally that was given tens of thousands of tons of sophisticated military equipment .. along with supplies and support for over 5 years.

2) Congress voted down the "Stop Arming Terrorist Act"

This woman did not do any of the above - she was just the wife of an ISIS fighter - our "ally" in Syria.

3) if we are going to charge this woman with a crime -and maintain the rule of law "equal justice" - then how come Obama, Hillary, Trump and a whole bunch of others who were/are engaged in far greater crimes - not standing trial ?

I can go on -- Such a trial would be really messy with respect to maintaining certain "necessary illusions" - such as the illusion that our Justice system is not some third world Kangaroo show.

Yep, we're screwed alright. Revolution in Sweden is impossible (thank god, I think) so the only way out is for Sweden Democrats (SD) to get the support they need (it is growing) and if they do half what they promise then things will improve very quickly.
