So, as with his election fraud claims, somebody else needs to pay for him to play? Beyond ridiculous.

    Yup.

And, he still hasn't paid Guiliani.

This goes back to Trump's familiar pattern of not paying bills and stiffing contractors.

Serious question. Do you think has a little black book of dirt? I can't think of any other reason anybody would associate with him.

Some people need their social media mommy to cover their eyes and shield them from content they are not equipped to digest. Gerber makes a similar product.

    Not sure.

Sometimes people do strange things for enough money.

O FFS.... Not. As in entirely wrong. There is zero effort to war with the 1rst amendment here. And while you bring it up, what do you actually disagree with? Twitter et al fancy themselves as the public square, 230 protects them legally from content supplied by their users, literally this protection ends the second those platforms start to curate their content. That doesn't make them less viable, it just opens them up, like EVERY OTHER media company to law suites based on their content. Newspapers, Networks, et al must live under the same threat that if they decided to run BS and it harms folks, there are remedies. These remedies don't exist today for the 230 orgs, do they. You know this. So what you're really chafing against is this idea that suddenly your team must become responsible and follow the law and you simply aren't willing to accept that. It must be your shield to spew your brand of hate and division, but your cudgle to not allow any other options or opinions, or facts to be presented to the world. Talk about the assault on freedom of speech. The is your schtick. No one here is suggesting that suddenly government gets to pic winners here. So why advance that lie? The fact that you actually used the property term that makes Twitter et al non compliant to 230 (publishers) is actually quite ironic. I couldn't care less if FB decides not to allow a perspective. But when folks on the left then use those platforms to insight violence, spew their own propaganda, lies, and vitriol, I expect them to face the same legal challenges every other publisher does. You want equity, right??? LOL

I've wondered the same thing. He doesn't even need to do that. He can just sign up with Parler or some other outfit. Probably just stubbornness.

    ROFL! TDS is real!

The Lefties need a "safe space". This is all so sad. What happened Lefties? Where are your backbones? The Righties tolerate and endless parade of MSM / Big Tech propaganda. You guys do realize you can ignore what you don't like? Seriously... it works. I guess you all are too "offended".

    Lefties... get over yourselves.

I agree that if Twitter takes to the point of editing or removing content, that's the equivalent of a newsletter and not a social marketplace and therefore, it does not deserve Section 230 protections as defined under the Law. The whole point of Section 230 is to say "Hey, we know you can't control these guys so we won't hold you liable for criminal activity", anymore than you'd hold a restaurant liable for mafia members planning a heist while eating dinner at your restaurant.

But Twitter is now attempting to take control, meaning it doesn't need these protections.
