And YOU make the choice to work there. So that was a moronic argument on your part.

That's right. Their choice. Not yours.

Dont like the constitution much eh?

Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973), is a landmark decision issued in 1973 by the United States Supreme Court on the issue of the constitutionality of laws that criminalized or restricted access to abortions.

#FAKENEWS: Everyone thought conservative policies were killing Texan women. Turns out the numbers were wrong.

Apparently, there were several issues with reporting and various actors using bad information to make their claims. In their words, “approximately half of obstetric-coded deaths showed no evidence of pregnancy within 42 days, and a large majority of these incorrectly indicated pregnancy at the time of death.”

“Maternal death, a major marker of the health of a nation or state, is defined as ‘the death of a woman while pregnant or within 42 days of the end of pregnancy…from any cause related to or aggravated by pregnancy…” according to the study. Researchers examined the statistics from 2012, the year Texas had the highest recorded maternal mortality in recent history, and reviewed records to determine whether the state’s mortality count was accurate –– it wasn’t.

But this can’t wipe the false headlines away.

It won’t even stop people from making the claim. Because, you know, narrative over truth.

You aren't willing to be violently destroyed, torn limb from limb then you have no right to insist pain-capable unborn children be subjected to that if they do not a serious risk to the life and health of their mother.

And again, ALL pregnancies carry a risk to the mother.

You are talking third trimester abortions

Okay please understand that unless the abortion facility is operating illegally as was Gosnell. Third trimester abortions are not done on healthy foetuses. The overwhelming majority are done for foetal abnormality incompatible with life. In other countries less the baby would be doomed to die often screaming

Just means that the states will be paying out hundreds of millions of dollars more then they would have if they didn't cut funding for PP.

Roe v. Wade is a court ruling and is not in the Constitution.

No it was an interpretation of the constitution and I suggest people really look at it because it has implications far beyond abortion

100% correct! I think you are one of the first here that I've seen to think outside of the box and look at the possible ramifications involved.

People fail to realize there are consequences to their decisions. If Roe Vs. Wade were ever overturned and abortion became illegal, you'd have potentially hundreds of thousands of unwanted children dumped into the states hands for care. You want to see a huge tax increase? You've got it. Remember this isn't a one time only occurrence; each year you'd be looking at the states orphanages growing with hundreds of thousands of unwanted children. Be careful of what you wish for; you might actually get it.

If you don't believe in abortion, then don't have one.

Actually I have always seen it that the ruling was an affirmation of the right to privacy.

What many do not consider are the implications of overturning that

If it is overturned who then has the rights to your medical information? Does the state have the right to determine what you do with your body?
