You are the one who claimed that he never called the travel ban racist or xenophobic but then you went on to agree that he implied it.

You can argue semantics about it all you want but on the campaign trail in 2020 he called it what he called it.

I did not agree that he implied those restrictions were racist. I said it could be argued that he he did so, but I don’t think he did actually imply that.

You then go back to claiming that “he called it what he called it”. But I have not seen any comments from Biden about the Covid travel restrictions. None. They may be out there, so feel free to bring them to my attention.

And by the way, it isn’t “semantics” to point out that a tweet that includes the word “xenophobia” does NOT make any reference to travel restrictions.

 

If you haven't seen it then you simply weren't paying attention to the words he spoke on the campaign trail.

I didn’t follow Biden on the campaign trail. If he actually called the Covid-related travel restrictions racist, I’m sure there’s a record.
I have searched for such comments on Google but I’ve drawn a blank.

Well, I'm having a hard time finding where Biden called the travel bans xenophobic. He called Trump a xenophobia days earlier by the way, so hard to conclude he said it in response to Trump's action.

If you want an example of hypocrisy, the right was claiming ebola was burning down the country and Obama should be tried for treason after 2 deaths. Contrast that with the hundreds and thousands of deaths from COVID where they said it was just thr flu and no big deal.

 

Trump accused him of it, but as you say he called Trump xenophobic before the travel ban was announced. Trump was a bit of a xenophobe, so there is that.......
