Wait....get's what right? That the earth is in environmental danger? Yeah, they do.
    Not even close
I claimed that it's a necessity, which you agreed with (bold)

Whatever he suggested, it worked. The industry is doing better now then at any time under Trump.
    It's subsidizing a necessity.

    FFS, give me a break
"The nine most terrifying words in the English language are “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help. – 1986"
You're telling me you never saw, heard or read that.
Of course I believe you
I never said anything about the government paying day to day living expenses......you did.

Because they already subsidize big oil, why not those that compete ?

Translation: "I will never answer because I cannot. You are correct in all respects."

    Another lie.

    No, you lied. Again.

He never will. He will make twenty posts dodging, deflecting, and flat-out lying, but will NEVER pin himself down with an actual STATEMENT.

    That's wrong.

You're lying again, just like your sock.

Essentially, yes, it did. The crew required to man a sailing ship was large.

Then you are not being honest.

These posts are the definition of denial. The absence of a rebuttal calls for the pathetic display of ignorance wrapped in arrogance.
Further examples. This is what someone thinks is a debate. Pathetic.
    Here's the topper
Show of hands on who sees an actual statement in any of these answers.

How large? How large were the crews of the same size ships that replaced them?
These require an actual answer.....that would be different (and apparently difficult) for you.

Show me where I can apply for my gas subsidy. Show me where gas companies get money from the government for each gallon they sell.

Oh this is too rich you are going to argue now that for the equivilant amount of cargo the crew between a sail ship and a fuel powered ship is less?

What did he suggest to increase or domestic supply and where is my subsidy to lower the $4+ a gallon I am paying because of his suggestions?

    EV's aren't a necessity

You're the one arguing crew size. How many crew would it take to man a sailing ship to carry the equivilent cargo of a steam ship.....of a fuel ship. If it wasn't more efficient why did all shipping begin the short transition to steam and fuel oil without any government subsidy. Why did trucking?

Your $4 gas is because of Russia and Saudi Arabia, not because of any Biden policy. We have more oil investment now than any time under Trump. That SOB crashed the oil market with his dump ass policies.
Here, read it and weep. Tell me how Trump did better

WTF.....is this considered clever to you? Do you think "gotcha"?
He didn't site it as in relation to anything. It was a blanket statement meaning the government will screw it up.
    Again....comprehension comes into play.

This is an incidental, maybe tangential item, but kinda funny/interesting:

The Auto workers' Union President's name is Shawn Fain--

Seemingly named after the Irish political party, which is pronounced similarly, whose paramilitary arm is the IRA (Irish Republican Army).

    <Snip>
Sinn Féin (/ʃɪn ˈfeɪn/ shin FAYN,[19] Irish: [ˌʃɪn̠ʲ ˈfʲeːnʲ]; English: "[We] Ourselves")[20] is an Irish republican[6] and democratic socialist[7] political party in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

They made the transition because, yes, it's more efficient. A 3 masted merchant ship would have about 50 in a crew and haul 500 tons. A similar steam ship that could haul 500 tons would have a crew of about 30.
