The one where two Islamo-Vermin were on their way to attack people at an art exhibit they thought insulted their pedophile scumbag bandit thug Mohammed. A patrol officer managed to identify them and stop them in the parking lot.

It is said that the duration of the average strong-arm assault and robbery is less than 45 seconds beginning to end. So that leaves you 7 minutes and 15 seconds to lie there and bleed before the cops get there. Is 8 minutes too long to wait for help in a place where you are DISALLOWED from defending your SELF? Damn right it is.

Are you sure you're not thinking about the Texas incident? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtis_Culwell_Center_attack

Perhaps I have some misconceptions. In London, would it be legal for you to use deadly force against a robber who is physically assaulting you?

Yes, you have some misconceptions (not that this is uncommon, especially among Americans). We’re certainly not “disallowed” from defending ourselves. There’s a legal concept of “reasonable force” which basically means you can use enough force to prevent harm to yourself or others. If that needs to be deadly force (or more often force which inadvertently leads to an attackers death), that can be perfectly legal.

There are limits of course (just as there are elsewhere) and there is sometimes confusion (often deliberately fed by the tabloid press) when someone is initially arrested following what turns out to be a self-defence incident, which is more of a procedural thing as part of establishing exactly what happened rather than any direct accusation of guilt.
