The media is painting Volodymyr Zelensky as an heroic leader, a rock star like figure; his performance warrants a "C" grade. At this time the Ukrainian people need a President who is a wise leader, a statesman and a smart Commander-in-Chief not a leader of a gang trying to rally people to fight a gang war. He needs to stop with the sarcasm that the Free World is afraid like were a bunch of sissies, the stakes are a nuclear war Mr. Zelensky. He needs to stop with the call for a no-fly Zone over Ukraine that means certain nuclear war and he needs to stop with the call for Free World leaders to stop buying Russian oil, it is not that simple Mr. Zelensky you should know what it means to have your people go hungry and have no warm place to live that is what it means for populations of the Free World if a ban is instituted on Russian oil and natural gas. This constructive criticism is not a condemnation of President Zelensky his behavior is understandable his people are being killed and his country is being destroyed portion by portion on a daily basis most regular people would act like Volodymyr Zelensky with inflamed emotions but such behavior doesn't best serve his people, he has to remember to use his head not his heart!

First, President Zelensky should appreciate that Russian President Vladimir Putin has already made the fatal strategic mistake that will cost Putin this war, military experts have repeatedly highlighted it that being that he has tried to take the whole country of Ukraine he will spread his forces too thin and this will result in the Russian Army taking catastrophic levels of casualties, Putin should have stuck with the consensus smart play which was to expand the separatist regions in the east to the entirety of the Donetsk and Luhansk provinces and made a land bridge from this Donbas region to Crimea that would have sufficiently disrupted the functioning of Ukraine but Putin's arrogance and ego got the best of him and he has gone for the whole country. Now the job for President Zelensky is to lead his people to "maximally exploit" that mistake and win this war!

To this end, President Zelensky should lead his people in the areas the Russian Army has taken in the east and south and will take to conduct an "insurgent" campaign and in the areas the Russian Army is invading conduct a "resistance campaign". A smart Ukranian "Commander-in-Chief" would assess that the Ukrainian army has like two hundred thousand soldiers trained and in uniform and around two million soldiers untrained and not in uniform and the job is to add the latter group to the former group. A wise Ukrainian leader would stop asking world leaders for weapon systems they cannot give Ukraine because it would start a nuclear war to weapons and resources that they can give Ukraine which would make a difference in its war against Russia. Of course Ukraine needs rifles and mortar tubes and the corresponding ammunition for these weapons and things like that but equally important what Ukraine needs is the money to hire private contractors to train an army, Ukraine should have a number of such training camps in the south west of the country. This cannot be emphasized enough the President of Ukraine needs good trainers to train up an army, the key here is that Ukraine needs trainers who can discern or identify the talents of these recruits to match the soldiers abilities with the jobs they are given for the country's needs. For example, Ukraine will need a lot of snipers to degrade Russian forces as they take on an occupying Ukraine rolls; snipers not only have to be good marksman but they have to be smart and mentally tough for they have to chose good sniper locations on the battlefield and patiently wait for a target when enemy forces are near and they are in danger, an enormously stressful job; this skill set is not common amongst populations Ukraine needs trainers that can spot recruits with this unique skill set. Ukraine will be conducting in part an insurgency war meaning they will not engage in entrenched battles with the enemy they will hit the enemy and they will run, so Ukraine will need special forces teams to conduct such missions, such special forces soldiers will have to be strong and have stamina for each team member will have to carry a heavy load of weapons and supplies like mortar shells long distances and they will have to be tough they will have to spend weeks in the field without getting a warm meal and a comfortable place to sleep, Ukraine needs trainers to identify recruits with this extraordinary skill set so they can be assigned such jobs.

A smart Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief would assess my international allies will give me common weapons like mortars for my special forces teams to bomb Russian trucks ferrying supplies on their supply lines but for using these weapons to bomb Russian military camps where Russian troops are stationed my mortar teams because of Russian security will not be able to get close enough to the camps to use these weapons and I won't be able to use artillery guns because they cannot be moved quickly so if they were used the enemy would readily locate and then destroy them. However, if I could get rockets they can travel a longer distance than mortars so my special forces teams could increase the number of Russian soldiers they kill if I can get them rockets. What is being referenced here is single launch rockets, such a type special forces teams could readily carry and use, and such are not a weapon that major countries use because they have other weapons which can fulfill this role on the battlefield, so Ukraine really won't be able to get this weapon from its allies. Nevertheless, rockets are not that difficult to manufacture take for instance Palestinians often manufacture them when they are under a goods embargo (this reference is not in any way to allege or imply the use of rockets by the Palestinians is moral for they target and kill civilians with such weapons); the Ukrainian government should have rocket manufacturing plants in the south west part of the country to provide this useful weapon to the Ukrainian army.

President Putin thinks he has the world permanently boxed in the World that it cannot save Ukraine without getting into a shooting war with Russia and such a war would be too costly on the publics of the countries in the Free World. But he forgets that over time the world public will get more and more fed-up with his killing of innocent Ukrainians and the destructions of these people's homes and just the extreme moral wrong of this use of a military by a major country, the Ukrainians are innocent people they have done nothing to deserve this. There will come a time it may be like a month away where the public tide will turn against Mr. Putin where the world public will demand action of its leaders even if it means risking a war and world leaders have options which a reasonable person would conclude that don't involve crossing the line into becoming a participant in the armed conflict. One, the Russian Army in Ukraine would be in dire straits if it did not have the help of the Russian air force. Ukraine doesn't have to destroy every Russian aircraft to sideline or impair the Russian air force it just has to damage the runways of the Russian airfields the Russian air force is using close to Ukrainian/Russian border. This could be accomplished by the Free World to start giving the Ukrainians cruise missiles, sure Mr. Putin could think my S 400 systems and other air defense systems will take them out not if the Ukrainians follow the tactic that the Palestinians in the past have used to beat the Israeli air defense, just overwhelm the system by launching a high number of missiles at the same time. Plus, the Free World can start giving the Ukrainians tons of drones military experts have an idea where you keep your S 400 to protect your airfields, so just send a bunch of drones in the area and send a few cruise missiles at the Russian air field and when the SAM system fires its missile it's location can be picked up and the drones can take it the S400 system, pretty precious equipment for Russia's air defense pretty costly for the Russian President to lose them. Also, the drones could be used to bomb the Russian airfield runways and one last thing here since Mr. Putin through his use of them has said it is okay to use cluster bombs Ukraine could use cluster bombs to disable the runways so it could be done more quickly and easily. Sure, Mr. Putin could say I will just use airfields deeper into Russia and just refuel the planes in the air but still that would leave less air cover for Russian troops in Ukraine as more planes are in transit plus with the high number of sorties that Russian pilots are flying and the resulting wear and tear on the planes there will be more planes running into performance problems coupled with problems from enemy fire from the Ukrainian Army resulting in more Russian planes not being able to make it back to these air bases deep into Russia and having to crash.

Secondly, the Free World could go a significant way to stopping Putin's War machine by giving the Ukrainian government the money to take out the key Russian scientists and engineers that make Russia's key weapon systems. It is taking a page out of the security strategy that the Israeli government has used to stop its enemies that would use nuclear weapons against Israel from actually building such weapons, the Israeli government has assassinated key scientists. It would only involve the Ukrainian government assassinating around two to three dozen Russian engineers and scientist to largely paralyze Russia's key weapon production industry. It is not like the identities of these people are hard to find go into the plants that make these weapon systems and practically all the workers can tell you who the really key engineers are they are the people that solve the key engineering problems in the plant and get the products out the door which keeps the workers out of trouble and receiving a paycheck. A company could have a disk with every blueprint of every part needed to make a weapon system but without very talented and experienced engineers to build and work out the bugs and there is always bugs building these extremely complex weapon systems the weapons won't reliably work and such engineers are few and far between.

Thirdly, the Free World could give the Ukrainians the money to set up a system using commercial jets to launch crude cruise missiles into Russia. The purpose would be to have Russia begin to pay a price in terms of destruction of their country. You make a cruise missile fuselage with small wings and small horizontal stabilizers (they only need to keep the missile level during flight) and have the vertical stabilizer fold over (to pop up immediately prior to launch) and you put a simple turbofan engine in it and you put a bomb in the front I prefer a napalm bomb because if it lands in a field it will still hurt Russia by causing a fire. You piggy back the cruise missile fuselage to the top of the commercial jet fuselage attaching it at two locations to a piston where the pistons are part of a hydraulic lift; you put over the missile fuselage in the area of the wings and stabilizers a thick rubber half shell or elongated bubble to blend the piggyback missile aerodynamically with the jet (you don't want to dramatically harm the flying ability of the jet). When the commercial plane is airborne and the pilot wants to release the cruise missile it points the plane toward the Russian border levels out the plane and first raises a piston out of the fuselage of the plane directly in front of the back fin (or vertical stabilizer) of the plane to protect the fin from being hit by the rubber shell and being damaged then the pilot releases the rubber shell and at the same time raises the hydraulic lift to lift the cruise missile fuselage above the top of his planes vertical stabilizer and at the same time the missiles vertical stabilizer will fold up and lock into place then the pilot will release the cruise missile and the cruise missile will be designed to fire its engine three seconds after the release and the missiles simple automatic flight control system will level out the missile using its wings and horizontal stabilizers ailerons and elevators respectively and the missile will fly into Russia and when it runs out of fuel it will crash to the ground and its bomb will go off. Ukrainians could help protect Russian civilians by announcing that it would only put enough fuel in these cruise missiles to travel like one hundred and fifty miles over the border so evacuate beyond that distance. The reason for this type of homemade program is that cruise missiles are expensive the U.S. tomahawk cruise missiles costs like two million dollars a piece and production volumes are very limited. This type of crude cruise missile could be manufactured for a small fraction of that price and in very high numbers; the reason to use a cruise missile type instead of a regular missile is that a regular missile when fired has a parabolic trajectory which makes it easy to shoot down by air defense systems, cruise missiles can fly long distances and could be flown at low altitudes below a lot of air defenses radar.

President Volodymyr Zelensky needs to behave like a statesman and in a lawyerlike and patient manner point out to the world the unjust taking of human life in Ukraine and destruction of Ukrainian society by the Russian military and Russian mercenaries. It is a hard road President Zelensky must travel and his country will suffer much harm before the War is over but the Free World will eventually come through for his people it will eventually deal with the reality that it cannot let Vladimir Putin do what he is doing for the survival of civilization; and, the Free World has options to stop Vladimir Putin and his barbaric regime!

As far as I'm concerned we should be completely neutral on it, no sanctions, no money for either side, maintain peaceable relations.
