I understand what is meant by Uncle Tom, Tom-ing, I observed it, As a young child, I wanted to go fishing, my uncle was busy, so he assigned a worker to take me fishing, he pulled him off his regular job in the factory, and told him to take me fishing and would still get paid. The man's name was Tom believe it or not, he was Black, people laughed to see him take a little White boy fishing, We had so much fun that day ! We talked about things, deep things, He confided, that day was like a vacation to him. I had $ 20, he bought us beer..smokes ..... He got called an Uncle Tom by other jealous folks, some were his relative's, Jealousy had reared it's ugly head that day.
